Denuvo anticheat has made it so my computer can't run this game when it previously could before.
Controversies of the anticheat essentially being a rootkit aside
Not really a good decision.

This game proves that human rights are NOT BASED on any scientific or economic principles.
If i didn't believe in what I was doing don't you think I'd be playing some other game?

Fun little timewaster if you have an hour or so to kill.
Might get boring after a while, but so does tetris.
For the general audience, it's alright. Maybe this would work nicely as an IOS or android app.

...now for Stoners, fans of psychadelic art, or a big fan of music that sounds like Boards of Canada?
game becomes an addiction, send help. Please.

It's a total hot mess.

It's also a fun hot mess, with lots of influence from things like Akira, warhammer 40k, bladerunner, and ghost in the shell.
Starts out like an RPG, ends as a chaotic hack and slash.
It's gameplay is highly unbalanced and deadly, you'd probably be able to successfully tone it down with normal difficulty, but you're limiting the game's potential.
Many mechanics of the game are exploitable, and there are many ways to play the game. You can start out as a hacker mage type, spawning allies, hacking enemies to fight on your side and teleport INTO enemies where they stand, and end up a brute with fully upgraded cyberlegs that let you jump five stories tall, as you rain down propelled explosive warheads and lay waste to what's below like you're straight out of the starship troopers novel.
It gets exponentially more addictive the more you play, and the story has some pretty decent philosophical connotations to it once you finally understand what's actually going on.
It's commonly on sale for $2.50, for that price it's well worth it.

As far as I'm aware of the game's history, it was a game launched at around the same time as one of the Deus Ex titles, and it was broken upon release, a patch hasn't been released until months to years later. It's unknown if the game is still broken to this day as no one has apparently been able to reach the true endgame, though developers have hinted that its there and it's possible to reach it.
probably something to do with the metastreumonic types that are willing to speak with you throughout the game

Do you really, really like the Youtube channel "Forgotten Weapons"?
Can you tolerate absolutely horrible pay to win business models?
Are you patient?
Congratulations, this game is for you!

A guilty pleasure in the latest fad of uber short, impossible to lose easter egg hunts
Now, this was more of an impulse buy for me, seeing as streamers were having loads of fun with it, and I'll admit, so was I. It reminded me of those homestar runner interactive flash videos, but with cold war futurism and cowboy bebop influence.
The crude humor and atmosphere made for a unique experience, yet that quickly evaporated when I realized that the only real chalenge I had was in a fruit ninja easter egg. And that was 3 hours in, which was right before completing the game.
It just left me longing for more, but I realize, that is all there was to it. I ended up getting little more than half of the achievments, but I know there won't be anything else wating for me in the game, as it's painfully linear.

If you want to have guilty fun while sometimes giggling at pop-culture nerd references, buy it. Just make sure you buy this at a HEAVY discount as the entire game will last 3 to maybe 5 hours, and can be finished in 20 minutes if you ignore the easter eggs.
