0/10. Doesn't run. Did clean install. Doesn't run. At all. All I get is the suggestion to create a new xbox account. That's it, and then nothing. Not even the chance to login in with my brand new xbox account. Now my xbox account is sad. Publishers, you did a very bad thing selling a game that doesn't work and you should feel bad.

I purchased expecting a mostly modern take on the old Syndicate game. I was not disappointed. Great graphics and depth to the upgrading of your agents. Plot line is pretty basic. Gameplay is a bit overwhelming at first but the complication is very rewarding later when you find that you need to try different strategy. Easily one of the more entertaining games in my library.

This game does require a fair amount of thinking how to approach a scenario. And, to up the risk/reward, there is no pause, so your strategy has to be workable in realtime AND account for changes. The guards might look like they're walking a static route but they can and do change the route randomly! It makes for a much different type of strategy game than you might be used to from turn based games. You should really have at least a plan B for when it all goes wrong. If you don't, you're going to get crushed.

This shouldn't turn into a UPlay review but... since you can't separate the two it really is all about UPlay.

I could not get the game to start due to uplay issues. After an hour searching the internet, nothing seemed to work. Support wanted me to download the game from steam again. (FIVE HOURS... HECK NO!) Striking out on my own, I tried downloading the version of UPlay from oopsie's website. Uninstalled the version that came with steam, installed the one from the website. Believe it or not, it worked.

The game is fun. The extreme hassle to get it to work is terrible. The internet is full of the horror that is UPlay. U-Been-Warned.

Ultimately just a story within the GoT story. People who buy this game almost like a supplement for a few extra chapters from the books/TV series will probably like it. Those who expect more are going to be disappointed. Your choices don't really change anything (I believe they tell you this in the description). And, you really need to know the GoT story to get the full value (this reviewer reads the books and watches the HBO series).

Given that the choices don't change the outcome at all, one shouldn't have to redo segments of the game over and over again because they didn't get a key sequence correct. It is really annoying.

Pros:
Voice acting
Story

Cons:
-Camera control is like looking through a tube.
-Choices available are limited.
-Characters sometimes fall out of "life like" actions... (not looking at another's face, frozen expression, etc.)
-Skin quality of some characters is really bad (Margery Tyrell had terrible skin in my game).
-Lots of clipping issues.
