I'm going to try so hard not to swear to this game and it's devs.

There "was" a reason that skate franchise was the best out there at the time. The games just understood the culture. The culture is exclusion, breaking the rules, swearing, getting deadly injuries. There is a reason why skateboarding culture is the way it is.

It's not "we're all friends, this city is built from ground up just for skaters, yay let's have fun". It's "this area is off limits so we should specifically skate here and flip off any cops chasing us" or "this staircase is leading to the highway lets 360 off of this staircase and try not to explode due to impact of a truck."

Like it or not, this is not skate. Do you wanna know what "skate." used to be? Go play the original trilogy. Or even just watch the live action intros of the old games on the youtube.

Oh my god it's so hard not to swear to this game. Disgraceful. Don't make games if you're gonna do it like this.
