Personally i can forget about all the glitches and bugs because i know behind them is a brilliant game made with lots of passion. Even if Activision ruins this game with micro transactions i wont really care, because tbh i just like WWII shooters regardless if their garbage or not. Its a cod game, not a masterpiece, a cod game. All the people that say "best refund simulator.'' and other stuff like that need to stop bandwagoning and find a game they actually enjoy. I believe that reviews can change the way someone sees a game and changes how they feel because of the influence from critics. If your thinking about purchasing this game, do it ♥♥♥♥♥.

Let me say this by clarifying that this is the third time ive re-wrote this review because for some reason every year or so i feel unsatisfied with it. With that being said lets delve into the review

(Why is TF2 such a classic, and why should you play it?)

-TF2 was one of the first popular class-based shooters, coming out in 2007 it was truly an amazing feet for its time, that being said, why should you play it now, in 2018 onward? Well, it still holds a special place in my heart for being one of the very first computer games ive ever played, so bare with me because i might have nostalgia goggles, but in my opinion TF2 still holds up very well today, especially for being a FREE game of all things..... its a bang for your buck.

(How does TF2 hold up today as a class-based shooter?)

-Well, obviously since 2007 there have been many improvements in this subgenre of shooters, the likes of which being Overwatch, and Paladins (i guess). However, recently i attempted to recapture some nostalgia by playing TF2 frequently again, and you know what, i genuinely enjoyed the game just as i did 5 years ago, so if that tells you anything, then yes it still holds up really well for something made in 2007.

Now, for other types of people who like a more simplistic review, i will be putting a pros, and cons list below to help you determine if this is the right game for you

Pros:

-Gameplay never feels repetitive, its extremely easy to sink in hundreds of hours into this game

-There is STILL a dev team for this game (albeit small) that actually cares about the game

-Really good for the casual player that enjoys the fun of a shooter

Cons:

-Updates are few and far between, and some of them can be outright disappointing

-Cosmetics can sometimes be the only thing keeping a player from quitting the game

-Not the best game for a competitive, hardcore player, due to random critical hits and unpredictable-ness of the game

All in all, i recommend TF2 to anyone who is a casual first timer, or a veteran wishing to return to the game, because its just as good as it was 5 years ago, just without as much popularity
