Stop trying to game on a Mac. I don't care if it's a MacBook or a full size Mac PC. They aren't built for it. Hell they aren't even built for much of what they advertise with their choice of components and their cooling systems. These machines aren't made to game. I know it sucks to hear it, but it's the fact of the matter. Until the game is better optimized and the Mac client is updated (if ever) I would highly suggest avoiding trying to game on Mac. Even older PCs struggle with the game, so don't get too offended. You won't get much help here anyway, so I would suggest looking into a cheaper laptop or building a computer to game on. If you don't game often, either wait for better choices from Apple or better optimization from game companies. If you don't wanna, kick the gaming hobby. I'm not sitting here trying to bash you or Apple as a company, I'm just laying facts down.
