Maybe this was an okay VR game on release, but mechanics and movement are painfully out of date.
This could be forgivable if levels or story were something awesome, but as a basic zombie shooter (go to location, survive wave, repeat) there's not much to say.

Is it fun, yes.
Worth $40, no. If not mechanically updated, $5-$10 IMO.

More details about the mechanics:
You can't let go of guns, objects don't feel like they have weight, and gun holding angle is off (at least for Oculus - I have to tilt my wrist down to aim straight).

Early Access Review
As good as it gets to, and sometimes better than, having your own gun range in your house.
If you have a VR device you should get this game.
I'm using an oculus rift with touch/360 setup and it works great; fully supported.
I know it's fully supported for HTC Vive also, since the dev builds and tests on that device.
The dev is very active, go check out their youtube channel.

A lot of physics went into this game, but it's very accessible.
Goes far beyond planes
It's the best level of fun and frustrating :)

You can tell a lot of love has and is going into SimplePlanes.
Menus are a little off (mobile design on PC) but still works well enough.
It is easy to pick up and just get going; very short load times.

Great optimization also. This will pretty much run on any basic intel onboard gfx.

Took Grow Home and expanded.
Not every feature is needed, but hey, it's just a fun game.

A simple stylized adventure leaving me wanting me more.
The atmosphere, animation. and visuals are fantastic.
Controls are tight and gameplay is fun.

While the puzzels are relatively simple, this game will not leave you bored.
The story is intreging, but left me want more.
It's definitely a little strange, but certainly not offputting.

The game is very linear, but I've replayed it three or four times.
Twice just for fun; third time to get all the secrets; and forth just for fun again :)

If you're a fan of platformers, secrets, stranger stories, and amazing visuals, then I highly recommend getting this game!

Simple stylish and loads of fun.
Anybody can pick this up and have a great time.

Give it a chance and it will most likely win you over within the first 10 minutes.

For its price and single planet/area it is definitely worth it.
I hope to see more of this in the future.
