The best Digimon video game experience yet. I highly recommend purchasing this title if you are a fan of the series!

EBF3's combat is simple, yet tactical enough to be compelling and even tough at times. Dialogue is very light-hearted and silly; a pure joy. In terms of aesthetics, the game looks pretty solid as well. The soundtrack is nothing to sleep on, so if you like a game that sounds impressive, you'll like what you hear. I would have bought this at full price, but you can't beat a freebie. This is an enjoyable JRPG and a very good game.

I would absolutely recommend EBF4 if you like this game. I can't wait for EBF5!

EBF4 is a fantastic JRPG with very nice aesthetics, fun & strategic turn-based gameplay, and lots of references to make you smirk even a bit. The entire series is pretty good, but EBF4 takes the same elements from the previous games and improves on them in every way. You can play it for free on Kong, but the paid version has some extra content and it supports the devs. If you like turn-based combat with a side of cats, jigges ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), and gr8 banter, you'll truly enjoy this gem.

EBF5 pls :D

Edit: Btw, the game's soundtrack is quite phenomenal. You'll enjoy that too.

*My play time is rather short as shown on Steam, but I have put about 300 hours into the game before writing this review. I'm no elite top-level player, but I have put enough into the game to have some opinions about it.

Ok, on with the review...

Eldevin is a fantasy MMORPG that does a lot of really good things, but these things aren't particularly new to the genre. And that's not necessarily a bad thing IMO.

Many compare it to other games like Runescape, and that is completely understandable. However, once you start playing, you will see some stark differences. It's approach to the genre is more of a themeparky style with PvE raids and traditional PvP game modes. Grab some loot from these instances and you'll then see the game's emphasis on a wide crafting system in which you make some nice gear. You have lots of quests to do, many of which are fetch-quests, but there are some nice cutscenes that propel the story forward. As either a sword-n-board tank, ranger, healer, warrior, mage, or hybrid build, you'll definitely have some quests to do.

I must also say that this game is pretty on the eyes. Yes, others may not be too impressed about this game's graphical fidelity, but the overal *aesthetic* is very nice. Eldevin used to have an isometric view like Diablo, but the devs worked hard to make it 3D since many of the players wanted to see changes. The devs are pretty committed to seeing this game thrive, as they are active on the forums. The community is nice too both ingame and on the official forums.

In all, Eldevin does not introduce new ideas, cutting-edge mechanics, or innovative gameplay, but it does what it does very well. Based off of this, you might think "Well, why should I play this, then?" If you are looking for a themepark MMO that changes everything and flips the genre upside-down, then Eldevin is *NOT* the game for you. On the other hand, if you are searching for a solid title with grindy-yet-satisfying crafting, good combat with nice build variety, beautiful aesthetics, and on-point gameplay, this is the game for you. All it needs is more content to truly become a premier free-to-play MMO. I'll give it a 7.5/10.
