An absolute delight. Easily my favorite game I've played in a while. I played the demo a while ago and fell in love with this instantly.

This is what you get when developers absolutely love their game. The enthusiasm, the oftentimes crude and limited nature of the world and environments, the energy, it's infectious. Super charming. This is clearly the product of insanely niche inside jokes among friends, and it managed to really perfectly grab at my sense of humor like no other game has. This game is full of so many surprises that had me dumbfounded and smiling like an idiot. It never got old, and the progression of this game continues to up the ante.

Behind the funi haha though is a lot of heart. Some genuinely beautiful, contemplative, even melancholy moments. Freeing adorable goo from a container with cute music sting. A nostalgic song reminscent of days gone by, in a beautiful village with lingering "yippees". A picnic basket telling me her insecurities in a world she struggles to keep up in. It moved me. Little moments that showed me that a lot of heart was put into this.

I view Funi Raccoon game as a celebration of absurdist art. Where the lack of a deep meaning is itself a deeply profound and important meaning. Just the kind of game I needed tbh. Thank you :>
