I think £45 may be a little much, but with AAA games being like 90 these days I suppose it's just inflation.
Got it on sale for 4.95 and have had a huge amount of fun with it. Go in expecting AA / Indie-ish, maybe a mid-2010's kinda game, and you'll have fun with it. Would have been happy if I'd spent up to about 25 I think.

The game is an interesting blend of FPS, role playing, and parking ticket simulator. Plenty flaws but the game has alot of heart and nails the tone of the original films really well. I've never had so much fun interviewing crazy drunk witnesses to a murder connected to sunscreen commercial that nobody (including the actors) will wear because it's toxic. 10/10

Genuinely excellent, worth a playthrough for the story alone.

One for those who prefer to take their time.

An atmospheric, well paced, deliberate and well thought out survival game. Wholeheartedly recommend especially with the 3rd episode coming in at around 20 hours by itself if you aren't sprinting through it.

Be warned though, if you can't stand having to manage food bars / water bars / sleep bars etc, you may want to give it a miss as this *is* the main challenge of the game - staying alive. Getting from A to B is a big challenge that requires planning & forward thinking. Supplies must be rationed. Injuries must be tended to. Sleep must be had, and it must be somewhere warm so you don't freeze to death in your sleep.

There's nothing else I've played with quite this level of atmosphere, wholeheartedly recommend in it's current state for those who want games that really pull you into the world.

challenging survival city-builder set in an intriguing victorian setting with the amount of steampunk the name would suggest.
done in a cool way not the "add cogs and brass to everything" way.

random-ish events ♥♥♥♥ you up, resources are scarce and sometimes difficult to balance, and mistakes can cost you the game.
choices matter and there are now several scenarios to choose from. kudos to the developers for taking this from a 6 hour curiosity into a mainstay through new scenarios & free DLC. There's enough gameplay here for a nolifer cheeto addict with the new endless mode.

can't think of another game that's really like this; maybe age of empires and dark souls had a threesome with simcity or something.

if you are in to city building and like a challenge this is totally worth the asking price. even better on sale.
