When No Man's Sky was announced in 2013 it was the definition of endlessness in the Gaming industry. Unlimited Opportunities and hours of fun gameplay. Now, it's finally released with high expectations and enormeous preasure, which it couldn't overcome in the end. I jumped onto that hype-train like many others did.

Now as it's here it isn't nearly that what was promised over the years. Sean Murray and his team have pushed the game to such a high level. The promised features, "every planet is so unique" and stuff. After a few hours you land on a new planet and seriously have nothing to do. I have to admit that this universe is enormeously big with 18 quintillion planets, but the problem is they are partly so similar. For instance, the caves look the same on every single planet. Then it comes to the creatures... After a while you clearly recognize a scheme Hello Games adapted on the fauna system. Animals have these and these legs, this and this head, this and this height, and thats it. This univere may be endless and stuff, but you can cram its content into a single pot, if you know what I mean.

No Man's Sky is my dissapointment of the year, although the year isn't over yet. I know that there are people who have fun and joy after hours of repetition, but for me, a game must deliver something, wich keeps you on playing. No Man's Sky promised something unique, but it didn't.
