The Last Door held my interest the entire way through, which is something I haven't found in most modern point-and-click games. The game isn't held back by its pixel graphics, but succeeds in creating a dark and foreboding atmosphere. The mysteries of the story are intriguing and I am interested to see where the story goes in season 2.

Teslagrad feels like a love letter to games of 20 years ago. It has a Metroidvania style that many games try to mimic, but fail at. In this case, it is perfectly crafted. It also features an elaborately crafted world and inferred story line that made me think of Another World / Out of this World. The puzzles and bosses are challenging. It requires a good deal of precision and practice to get through some sections. Though it was unforgiving at times, I felt that it was a rewarding experience overall. I didn't even realize that I missed games like the ones I played as a child until I played Teslagrad.

Blowing up a city to kill zombies is a win, right?

The best game that portrays zombies as a near-unstoppable hoard. Also the best game that portrays zombies as pink cubes. Also the best game that includes surf music with zombie killing.

All around a fun and challenging game with lots of randomization for replayability.

Pretty fun turn-based mining game. Plays a bit like a boardgame. Choose different classes of dwarves and attempt to bring the most treasure out of the mine. Play vs CPU or friends (hotseat only). Lots of variety in the maps and enemies. One of the more unique and continually enjoyable indie games I've played. Highly recommended!
