Awesome.

Everything was going fine. We had crops. We had livestock. We had electricity.

Sammy and Suppy were going to get married.

Raiders. Suppy gets hurt. While Sammy is tending his wounds, Suppy's father, Toad, takes a pass at Sammy.

Food supply runs low.

Toad has a mental break from Sammy's rejection. He wanders around the inside of the colony, useless and ashamed.

Sammy gets injured by a mad rabbit.

Suppy's downward spiral begins.

Heatwave.

We rescue a 96 year old sniper with cataracts, a transport-pod-crash-survivor, Sam.

Everyone has various stages of heatstroke, not enough steel to build more AC units.

Suppy goes berserk and stabs the other colonists, kills his own dog. Murders a roaming grizzly bear, all of the sleeping livestock, and picks a fight with a herd of Rhinos.

Sammy and Sam try to recover from their injuries but Toad didn't have a chance in hell. He bleeds to death in bed.

His rage finally gives out mid-fight with the Rhinos and Toad collapses on the other side of the map.

The two women can't get to him and to be honest, do they even want to? He bleeds out from his injuries.

Sammy's stab wounds are too severe and her heart is broken, she dies in the bed Sam dumped her in, the one that still has Toad's body in it.

A day passes as Sam slowly recovers, the last member of this colony.

The man in black shows up, Herman. He's a doctor! He quickly gets Sam to a semi-healthy state. She can walk!

A FIRE STARTS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BASE FROM FAULTY WIRING

Herman rushes to put out the fire but it's too hot too fast and his burns drive him outside into the blazing sun.

Her frail body failing her, Sam collapses trying to escape the inferno, she burns to death.

Herman scrambles to build a shelter from the scorching sun but succumbs to heatstroke, helped along by his aggressive carcinoma.

The end.

11/10 TURN ON THE REALTIME CLOCK IN OPTIONS.

I love every aspect of Mortal Online. I love that there's no true safety. I love the reward for the hardwork. I don't mind having to repeat 15 minutes of labor because I was murdered. BECAUSE I WAS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MURDERED. I was cutting wood in a populated area, went to make some tea, came back; DEAD. Boom, wake up call. This isn't a game you can walk away from. This isn't a game you can mindlessly farm. There are penalties for inattention and they're player enforced. Your first death will enrage you because you'll think you've come so far. But it's literally 15 minutes tops to replace everything you lost. And then what do you do? You throw it in the bank and fearlessly venture forth until you run into something bigger and badder than you. If you're foolish enough to roll around with a full inventory with 2 hours worth of farming mats...

And the community is wonderful once you finally get away from the help chat which is laden with angry children hellbent on refusing to figure any portion of this game out for themselves(even when a volunteer spends hours answering questions).

I was so stoked when I was pickpocketed for the first time, it was hilarious chasing the guy down as the gaurds filled him with arrows and I promptly took my 2silver back.

I can't wait to find a guild.

This is what MMORPG's should have been all along.

Mortal Online inspires a true sense of adventure in a thrilling and engaging world. (WITHOUT A STORY/DIALOGUE(Outside of the tutorial of course))

You make your own story, you carve your own path, you create your own sanctuary.
This is a gem of a game and I cannot wait to see what else Star Vault has in store for us.

10/10 would get murdered again
