so good on steam deck

Game runs so poorly on the steam deck, which is a computer. I don't give one ♥♥♥♥ about what the devs have to say about how they didn't have any intention of making the game available on the deck. The deck is a PC, and this (steam) is a PC game platform. The truth is that this game is incredibly poorly optimized for responsive screen design. Virtua Fighter REVO just got steam deck certified. This little bitty game can do it too.

Despite the negativity at launch, I'm having fun. I think the UI could be improved, but I don't think it's that bad. They claim to be focusing on big improvements there, too, so meh I'm just enjoying myself

Incredibly cool imagery (both in terms of graphics as well as design) and engaging light combat. So far, I think the closest comparison in terms of overall mechanics and experience is probably Jedi Survivor.

It feels very much like the first, but with some extra features tacked on. I'm glad they didn't deviate too far from something that already works very well. Looks like we'll have a much shorter early access this time.

If you like Toriyama and you're cool with playing a polished and well-executed kids' game, press buy.
