A different game than Pathologic 2. Not a sequel. The Bachelor's point of view of the story is distinct. Instead of surviving and murdering and looting, you will diagnose patients, manage your sanity, do a lot of drugs, play detective, be confused (most of the time), and maybe even revel in your mistakes. I was blown away by my own thinking and decision making when I thought it mattered the least. I traveled back to correct mistakes in ways I didn't think possible, and that's where the game sold me. It is definitely heavy on the choices which DO matter.

TLDR: This game improves in every facet from Pathologic 2 in terms of writing and choices, and yet the characters you enjoyed are all there from different angles. Don't expect the same gameplay. If you loved Pathologic 2, this game is worth it, if you're looking to start, start with #2.
