I'm not saying I have a type, buuuuuut if a cute girl with an accent that involves a lot of rolling r's tells me to do something, including walking over dead alien bodies, I'd do it.

TLDR: A great game if you like to play PvP. Otherwise I'd suggest wait until Arma 4 comes out.
(And hope it doesn't suffer from trying to shove in console ui and functions on a PC title as much as this one does.)

The good:
*Graphics - Looks pretty good at times, even with mid to high settings.
*Overall performance - Remarkably solid framerate on my decade old rig.
*Gameplay mechanics - Scroll wheel to control walk speed is nice, among other things.
*Character customization - The way everything is split up now is nice, allows more mixing and matching.
*Ingame mod downloads - It's nice, until you have to download a 2gb+ mod like RHS, then you'll be stuck waiting for a while.

The mid:
*The inventory (ingame) - KInda bad, ngl. The way it wants you to handle wound treatment is clunky and undercooked and relies on too many button presses.
*The hotbar - It's nice, at times but having to re-add demolition charges to your hotbar is frustrating when grenades seem to be pulling from the same stack of them.
*Animations (some) - The way the rifle is static while you move in first person reminds Novalogics Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising for some reason. Looks really off and doesn't convey motion properly.
*Gameplay mechanics - Among other things, why does the turret suddenly have to be controlled by the arrow keys to turn around?
*Weapon inspection - Well it's neat, but in some cases it's also hard to reach those contextually specific spots. Especially on longer rifles.
*Immersive animations - They're nice but they also feel like a hindrance sometimes when they take forever to play through when you need to into a vehicle while you're being shot at.

The bad:
*The UI - Horrendous, from requiring to press enter to start the game to the password window requiring two enter strikes to finish (and it's not even put in focus when selecting a passworded server.)
*The Contextual UI - Endless frustration having to look around for things. Trying to find the passenger seat while frantically getting inside a car while being shot at is fun the first time, not so the third time. Medical in particular is frustrating with a lack of contextual clues. It's incredibly tedious to run around like a headless chicken around a body to find the exact spot where you need to bandage and then morphine.
*Lacking backend support- The workshop is awful, no comment function for feedback, restricted to 16 entries per page, terrible filters makes browsing and utter chore. Not to mention it really needs enforced rules to provide a decent description and screenshots so you don't get dozens of entries just saying "Test" and nothing else.
*No Editor (and virtual arsela) - Makes testing mods incredibly clunky, having to boot up a dedicated server and change configs to try things out.
*Arsenal (ingame) - It's not great, not sure why a list of items didn't suffice there.
*Bad multiplayer support - No proper lobby, no ability to change missions without having to shutdown the server.
*Bad mod pipeline - Why are addons dumped by default into My Documents? And why must all downloads go through the Appdata/Temp folder while downloading?

Personal gripe:
*Far too much focus on PvP - While Combat Ops is nice, it could need some more attention with greater objective variation. The only other PvE option being Game Master is lacklustre.

Early Access Review
Recommended just for the shotguns being incredibly satisfying to use. Now gimme some slugs to go with the buckshot.

An absolutely fantastic Ace Combat clone that has some mechanics that almost makes it better than AC7, at least in some regards.

Also, it has Prez. Prez is great. <3 More games need characters like Prez.

Stick with Trigger and you'll make it.

Much, much, muuuuuuuuuuuuch better than Assault Horizon and a must play for any fans of the franchise.

Mechbased Rougelike that offers just about the right levels of KKND (Krush Kill aNd Destroy) with a varied and diverse arsenal and garage but suffers somewhat from a small map rotation.

Still one of the best stealth games out there and possibly the high point of the Splinter Cell series.
