Very promising demo! I've been excited for this one since it was announced at the Game Awards. Wasn't sure what genre it would end up being, but seems to be a management sim with heavy story elements. Though we only see a little slice of either in this demo (~30 min for me), the characters are strong, the writing is fun, and the potential is clear. Can't wait for the full release!

I'm sad I didn't find this game sooner. Everything about it is just delightful. I wish there were more games like this one.

Early Access Review
Honestly one of the best games to come out this year, which is crazy. I don't even like horror games usually but I repeatedly have loads of fun playing this one. At first glance it might look like streamer bait but this one's actually pretty special, especially with friends. The only negative thing I can think of is that the gameplay loop might get old (it hasn't, yet), but it's still great for what it is.

Very fun game, but honestly seems either a bit short and/or a bit too easy for the price point. I would estimate it would take 30 hours to beat the game if you sucked. Also currently still a little buggy, though all of the bugs I've experienced were solved by backing out to the main menu and coming back (pro tip: save before accepting a follower quest, my most often bug was them auto-failing). Once you've beat the game, there doesn't seem to be much replayability unless you go for achievements, which I think is fairly important in a roguelite. Brought up a full letter grade for ability to pet the dog though.

I, too, now have visions of the esoteric when I close my eyes, only instead of ancient gods and secret histories, I see color-coded cards and tiles and cool-down timers. Honestly wish I'd bought the game sooner.

Practically infinite replayability and doesn't really get boring. The interactions between items is definitely the game's strong suit. It's also always fun when you find the thread that lets you break the game and become an unstoppable monster. I'd also recommend getting both the Afterbirth DLCs since the first one adds a good bit of items and interactions, and Plus adds some more as well as mod support. Probably my most-played game.
My only gripe with the game is that the religious undertones aren't even subtle. /s

It's true that Fallout 4 is probably the least-Fallout Fallout game. But this does not mean that Fallout 4 is a bad game. I have spent over 400 hours in this game playing through all of its content, and I can sincerely say that I enjoyed every bit of it. But then again, I'm also in the minority that enjoyed the settlement system and the settlement DLCs (though I admit they should be bundled together as one DLC, three of them seems excessive and needless). Speaking of DLC, Far Harbor and Nuka World are among my most favorite experiences in my short gaming history, and perhaps the most DLC-like DLC in recent history, which is to say they are completely optional parts of the game you can choose to play without taking anything away from the base game. And though it has its quirks, I think the companion system was a success, and (at least in my opinion) a lot of the companions are likeable and have some sort of fleshed-out background.
However, if you go into Fallout 4 expecting another New Vegas-quality game, you're going to be disappointed. The story is lackluster and seems a little rushed, and others are right when saying that the dialogue system and the combat have been altered in such a way that makes the game more of a shooter than an RPG. Nevertheless, I would still highly recommend this game to anyone who hasn't done so yet.

I was low on health, then I found a toilet that gave back hp and had no rads. Drunk out of it several times. Looked up to realize there was a sink with the exact same offer right next to it.

11/10 would drink out of toilet again
