As someone who played and thoroughly enjoyed (and kicked myself for being bad at) The Witness, this game is really damn good. I'm not even done with level 1 and I can tell its only going to get better (read as: harder, and worse, why am I so dumb?).

But for real, play this game, it's worth the money. And if you're stuck, the Discord community is super nice too!!

So far, this is a beautiful and soft addition to the Slime Rancher universe, and I can't wait to discover more of the story ahead!

Edit: I think I've discovered everything this version has to offer and I'm hoping updates come soon, as I'm hooked!!! This story is so addicting...

Please help, I'm losing my life to this (wonderful) game. When I'm not at work, I'm playing Satisfactory, and when I am at work, I'm THINKING about playing Satisfactory. The efficiency, the optimisations, my wife wants a divorce. Maybe this is better, maybe I will have more time to work out a solution to my power problem now. Yes. Yes... This is good. Satisfactory, even.

This game, like those that came before it, was a phenomenal play, and the puzzles were just the right type of difficult for myself and my partner. The story was honestly beautiful and kept us both wanting to play more and more. The length of this one is much longer than the previous instalments, and this is literally only a good thing, more puzzles, more teamwork, more getting annoyed when your partner describes something poorly and then realising it's your fault and trying to play it cool... My only complaint would be that, at current, there are a good handful of crash-inducing, game-breaking bugs and sections that do lag a considerable amount for seemingly no reason. Do not let this discourage you from playing though, as restarting seems to always fix the bugs, and they usually occur during or right around cutscenes, which play right after autosaves, so not much progress is lost. I believe that in spite of the bugs, it is a wonderful game, and I strongly recommend it be played with trusted friends that you can truly communicate with, as it is best experienced with someone who understands you clearly. All in all, I will absolutely be playing through it again with my partner from 'the other side' just to experience it a second time, and hopefully a few bug patches should improve the performance!

Definitely better with friends, this game can be a bit frustrating to learn but once you understand the mechanics, ghost hunting has never been so fun. I really feel like I'm on one of those stupid ghost hunting shows except this time it's not just a camera crew flicking the lights...!

This game changed the way I see games as a whole and has left a lasting mark on me. I first played it when it first came out, I've played it on different platforms, and I must have spent at least a day or two of my life in this game, and I'm pretty sure I've not seen all it has to offer. Just play it, but PLAY IT BLIND. If you've seen more than the intro sequence then you've seen too much. Wait till you've forgotten and come back. It's worth it.

This game is absolutely huge at this point, so if you're a completionist/perfectionist like me and DON'T have a few months to spend draining your life force into this game, maybe don't buy it. Otherwise, for sure! Runs well on lower end PCs too!
