This is one of the best Boomer Shooters of this new wave in the market. Such great feel to the movement and gunplay, and the setting is steeped in atmosphere. It has classic level design, reminiscent of the '90s, and does retro the right way.

I'm really liking this, but I know that it won't be for everyone. I played for about 2 hours to get a feel for it, and it's essentially the same as the add-on. The target buyer for this is definitely someone who has never played it before, but wants to check out Tiny Tina's lore before playing Wonderlands. If you've played the add-on, and it's not something that you care to play again, this isn't adding anything so substantial that it'd pull you back in. At this point, I'm like a Borderlands superfan, and $10 for a remixed version of Dragon Keep that offers a unique experience in game progression and level scaling, is a fine price for me. If a slightly different experience of starting at Level 1 is not a big draw for you, you could probably pass this up.

This game is proof that all a shooter actually needs to be great is a focus on the gunplay and movement feel. That said, I do like the aesthetic here, and it doesn't hurt that the protagonist is a loud-mouthed, sassy, hot, anime chick. It really does feel great though, and bunny-hopping around this little arena, blasting away bullet-hell-style, is a ton of fun. It's like Quake, Nightmare Reaper, and Devil Daggers all blended up into a lewd-but-not-quite-hentai anime. This is a great wave-based, score-attack game.

I am an FPS fan first, and a horror fan second. So, I was pleasantly surprised to see multiple horror-shooters in this collection. Some experiences were less polished than others, but this collection is full of solid efforts from many developers, and the hub world was a very nice touch. I really liked that environment and presentation; great atmosphere.

I bought this just for The Pony Factory, and I was not disappointed. $7 is a fine price tag for The Pony Factory alone.

So, I just played this for the better part of an hour, and it's not terrible. Mind you, it's no masterpiece. DOOM Eternal this is not, but it never claims to be. This is a fun, little, free FPS in the style of Serious Sam and Painkiller, and it really feels like it. It feels like both of those games, but with less polish; like a rougher build, but it's certainly playable and it's worth your time if you enjoy that style of retro FPS. If you only care to play super polished games, then more power to you.

This is exactly what it claims to be, and it is not deserving of the negative reviews that it's been receiving. Especially, considering that this is being given away for free. I've seen far worse for $3-5. People are treating this game like it's a blight on their Steam profile, and that's simply ridiculous. I don't know why I'm going to bat so hard for this game but it's just mindless fun; as advertised on the tin. If you, like me, can appreciate a low-polish, indie FPS, play this.

Goat of Duty is perfect satire. I love the goat humor niche, and the subtle jab at the biggest, mainstream FPS series ever released. All humor aside, it is a solid, retro, arena shooter; certainly worth your time and a load of fun.
