Look, it's complicated.

There should be a tragicomic story, but there is something missing. The story is not very well-written, dialogs are kinda wacky. This game is for someone who knows basic inner workings of operational systems and applications, and even then it is somehow shallow. The last chapter of the game is dramatic, but still not enough for this tragic to have a real weight. There are some good story bits, but overall it doesn't play like a tragicomedy.

There should be wacky puzzles, but there is something missing. I've played the game for 5 hours during the week, but it felt like I was playing for 15, and not because the puzzles were ridiculously hard. Some of them are just hard to follow due to lacking of basic logic (and a game test pass). Some of them are so easy that they can be solved by just clicking around. There are some good puzzles, but overall it doesn't play as the puzzle game.

There is quite a good amount of side quests which shapes the in-game world, and they are mostly fun. You will probably skip most of them, because you have to actively scout for every single point of interest, which is quite tedious.

BUT, if you have 6 hours to spare, consider playing this game despite all written above. This game is crafted with passion and love, and it shows. Especially because of the amazing art, good voice acting and 100% certified banger of a soundtrack.

The story, although thought-provoking, lacks depth; dialogues are badly written. There are many puzzles, but they tend to be quite repetitive. The last level where you have to carry over photos to complete the next stage is the coolest thing this game has to offer, but there is only one puzzle of that kind, and I wish there were more like that. Unfortunately, the game doesn't quite meet its price tag.

But man, game mechanics are so cool, and there are more ways to play instead of just with the camera. I had fun playing Viewfinder.

I finished the game in 14 hours on Game Pass. Thank you, Xbox, for this opportunity. Now I pay it back for real here.

This game is easily my TOP 1 game in the last 5 years. I cannot remember any other game that brought me so much sincere joy. This game is full and complete - no bugs, no convoluted story to theorize about, no microtransactions, no bullsh*t. Just sit and enjoy.

- Simple, but powerful story.
- Somewhat cheesy, but interesting and perfectly executed characters.
- Intimidating at first, but relaxing and enjoyable gameplay.
- Easily the most dense game world on secrets and details... I see new Easter eggs online every single day.
- MUSIC! Original or licensed, tracks are crafted or picked in absolute harmony with levels and gameplay. A fight in cafeteria to Invaders Must Die and Wolfgang's 5th Symphony by Wolfgang Gartner accompanying a fight with a finance wereWolf (yes, it is THAT much interconnected) are easily the best encounters in an action game.

I had so much fun. I was really emotional when the credits started rolling. This game brought me back to simpler times, to my childhood. I want to personally hug everyone at Tango Gameworks and all the people who produced Hi-Fi RUSH, it was THAT emotional.

Okay, time to do a second run to open all the doors and find all the secrets. Now with an 808-shaped guitar, of course!

P.S. Korsica, my beloved 💗💗💗

One of my favorites, if not THE favorite, game ever made.

The idea sounds simple, and the execution is both simple and immaculate. And OST - man, you will find yourself immersed in Portal atmosphere even without looking at the game itself, just by the soundtrack. Such a rare quality.

Feel yourself like a decent speedrunner without actually being one. What a fantastic game!

Short but sweet little game. Strong "The Stanley Parable" vibes, and it delivers huge!
