It has a decently high learning curve, but is a pretty fun game to keep coming back to each league. It is a time sink for sure, but thats what I personally like in games.
Be warned that most of the content of the game is catered toward late game(after story mode) and the majority of people who touch PoE never play it long enough to realize that.
Anyway if you are looking to get into Path of Exile, the forums on their website have a lot of guides on builds, and I would recommend it for any new players as some of them are super in depth. Trust me, it helps especially when you don't know the game well enough to theory craft your own build as theres so many items and skills that it'll make your head spin.

It's a fun game, but play with friends/full premade lobby if you can at least for now. Most randoms either haven't figured out the game meta or are too easy to convince.
That being said, 8/10 - Good for friday nights

One of the best sandbox games I've ever played. I will never forget the experience this game offers.
Satisfying to play, better with friends.

I love the story line, but still, I kinda hate the part where I have to put that moron Wheatly in charge.

This game will always hold a special place in my heart. Also, I love the inclusion of potatoes. I love POTATO.
