Early Access Review
its a fun idle game, but the content is short, not a lot of meaningful choices that impact how you grow and with the current game the last few achievements/ trying to prep for new content is just grindy and not super active. basically just weighted prestige and slow gains to lengthen the game.

Good idle worth the short dopamine burst from playing at first, but long run doesn't currently have a lot to it. better off investing in a longer/more complex idle game with more content like leaf blower revolution (which this is probably a direct rip off of)

cute 'idle'/clicker game that took all of 20 minutes to complete.

exactly what I would expect for free, cut scene/background music that would play once and then stop leaving me left with the sweet sweet sound of coins until acquiring more was all I could think of (and/or my wife told me to mute that annoying sound)

everything is very straight forwards, great if your grinding out %100 achievements.

now they only have to add steam lemon drops and it would be the most played game on steam!

Been playing this on my phone (so disregard the low play time please) and I think its a decent little soft reset idle game. After getting past the initial time investment and active play active progress slows down and it becomes more of a slower check 1-2 times a day idle experience. currently content up to floor 30,000 at least so quite a bit of gaming to be done! Dev is still actively updating and adding new content as well!

TL,DR: If you like the long term style idle games, enjoy collecting gear and thinking about different strategies to approach challenges and don't mind some gate keeping around bosses this might be the game for you!

below is a more through review and some thoughts:

The theme is fun and cute, and you aren't overburdened with plot, the dev has a bit of tongue in cheek around the story and some of the encounters, so its fun reading the story text when it appears.

Game play is resource management, and active support of heroes by casting spells or directing who they fight next. Battle and movement are automatic and the resource management portion can become more automated as you progress. Game is mainly idling/letting things accrue/progress and then poking at things once or twice a day. I like this as it feel like I don't need to be actively playing all the time or leaving my computer(phone) on non-stop.

Early game can be a bit of a grind if you don't know what your doing, and there's a lot that's thrown at you (and some that isn't, always good to read the tool tips on of the stuff!) Its a 'soft resetting' game, so you're never complete stalled for progress as you can always reset to grow stronger. For when you have a bit more time there are challenges and other awards/perks that you can focus on actively to help buff you heroes for the basic grind. I love games that give buffs when getting achievements and how that makes you think outside the box about how to approach those elements(there's also a great discord community that is more then happy to help out new players!)

You can unlock mostly everything that is in game without having to pay for it! (there are a few skins, that give permanent benefit when unlocked, which are paywall'd) with free events that once unlocked will allow you to repeat them after a 7-10 day cool down and give in game currency (and by the time you've unlocked a few of them you'll have more then enough to keep you busy as the last one cools off) the game itself is FREE! so its not surprising that there are a few times to be bought with real money, but aren't needed (i generally recommend the "divine xyz" items as they significantly speed up the game. like divine sacred fury: 2x battle speed (w/ the x2 that the game starts you with and you can now speed up the combat to x4) and divine blessing: 2x dark mana (soft reset currency)) But not needed to be able to progress and complete this game.

for a pet project this is quite good, and as a free game you might as well check it out and support the one man dev.

However as a game its not good! (sorry, not sorry)

TR;DR: Barebones, minimal and while numbers go up (idle game thing) there isn't any depth to it. Ok if you want to achivement grind, but not worth spending your time on otherwise (as it is a free game, so time is really what the player is "spending" on this)

In-depth review below

Art is... fun, but lets face it pretty bad, it gets the point across... I would have wanted more monsters, or a feeling of more reward from the monsters... maybe change it every ten floors or soemthing so I'm actually feeling like I'm working towards seomthing

Controls: well you click on things, then click on more things.. and thats it. its not a "clicker" and active play (mashing the attack button) doesn't make it go any faster so might as well turn on auto and let it ride in the background. A lot of the time I find my self clicking 'around' on the text as the click-box isn't well defined and I'm getting no response from game to indicate it recognizes me clicking.

Story: just awful, go here do this with no real background, after a couple iterations of that then you have access to everywhere (which is mainly shops/upgrade shops and the dungeon)

Gameplay: bare bones, basically turn on auto, find the highest monster you can farm, rinse repeat, maybe if the quests kept going after the "story" and gave me different upgrades or stats (kill x of y monster for a skill point); There is no good explanation of... well anything... I can buy drinks that give me percents, what does that mean? I don't see it effecting anything as far as I'm aware. what does DEX do? What do the different skills/spells actually do? (and unless your playing actively and clicking them, whats really the point) What about armor and shield? I think one of them effects hp does the other give me def? is it flat def or is it %...? (I mean its so simple you don't really need to stragize, but thats part of the fun of idle games because they go on so long/forever that you get to enjoy doing the META) Money cost of things double each purchase, and while this linear increase ins't bad the enemies don't increase in quite so nice a fashion so your quickly going back to the grind to try and get that next step.

its an idle game, or as my partner calls it, doing accounting.

While this one does a decent job of capturing the feel of the trailer park boys show and flavor it really is just another game where you wait for numbers to grow, try to optomize as best a possible, rinse repeat. no new concepts or mechanics are brought to the game.

I appreciate the daily and 2 hour check in bounses that can keep you moving at a ok pace it was built as a mobile game and that would probably be the best way to play it so you can fully make use of these features.

a lovingly made game that will have you laughing and playing along just to see the next crazy world/level/mind scape. gameplay is solid with a few updates needed given the age of the game, but that doens't hurt it too much.

worst part of this game is if your a 100%er there is a lot to grab and not all of it is very obvious or well place (the ball rolling halfpipe race with all its jumps and winding passageways is one of the worst areas IMO for this)

100% recommended still stands up well dispite its age.

Unfortunately this game DOESN'T WORK FOR MACs anymore. while you can go about contacting popcap for an updateded replacement, STEAM IS STUPID and doesn't want to fix this. So if your considering this game and play on mac don't do it....

While it was working its a basic hidden item game with some mini-games between 'missions' to keep it moving a bit, nothing new to the gendre but isn't bad for what it is, just don't expect anything outside of the normal cookie cutter
