To fix all the issues you're having, please go to www.traodde.com to download the mod called 'Definitive Edition'. It's a HD remaster of the game that doesn't only update the graphics and audio to HD, but also fixes the controls, gameplay, crashes and any other issues people had with this game. It also adds full controller support! Even though the Definitive Edition is still a demo at the moment, the rest of the game has already been fixed up a lot by the fully integrated 'Restoration Project v1.3.0' by reborninshadows. Please consider giving it a second chance! Trust me when I say that the game is totally worth it!
