This is not a continuation of the vision we saw in the Alpha product, but instead an entirely new direction - and an unenjoyable one at that. Imagine playing Windwaker and every new island you got to, your sword no longer did damage, your hookshot is gone and you need to find it again, and the King of Red Lions is nowhere to be seen. You start the game over every few hours - about ten or so if you complete a region - to get utility bonuses like 9% gliding speed. Shame you can't keep your glider, though! Good luck finding it for your next +.5 meter lantern range. You can also blitz to getting these artifacts to create an even shorter gameplay loop if you'd like.

If you enjoy this version of the game, more power to you! But this is not the product expected when backing the alpha release.
