If your into the old style games like Harvest Moon and Rune Factory, then you'll love this game. Gives me the same feeling as those I've mentioned. Not only that but the game could be enjoyed with friends as well.

So I saw this game on sale for 70% off and I figured why not. I did enjoy the Neverhood way back when, and Skullmonkies wasn't too bad of a game, so I've had my eye on this game for some time but was at a loss because of how much it was and didn't feel like spending the money. I would have backed it back then too but again, financial problems.

That aside, I did enjoy this game to a point. To me it did seem like a rather short game, least compared to The Neverhood as far as I can remember (have not touched that in ages). The puzzles were sub-par. Some seemed quite easy if one took notes or go back if need be, while others seemed tedious and possible guess work.

Would I recommend, hard to say. To me, at the full price, I really don't think it's worth it unless you're a hard core Neverhood/Skullmonkies fan. If one would put price and average play time of the game aside, then yeah I would think one could get enjoyment out of this game. Sadly, I don't think most would put those aside, so I would have to go with the norm and vote no.

I can't even remember the last time I've played a simple yet challenging game. Hell I have yet to beat it and still playing it on easy. It's quite easy to pick up and go, but when you start getting near the final sector, be prepared for a challenge.

The game kind of gives me a feel for X-COM: Apocalypse, and the music when you engage in battle also makes it feel like that to me.

Honestly it's worth the normal price to me with the videos I've seen and the amount of time I've put into it, but if one is really iffy on it, I would highly recommend if it is your forte and it's on sale.

Reminds me a bit of Castlevania when exploring the castle, only it's random unless you want to pay a hefty fee to keep it the same. It's also interesting that one levels up by generation, meaning you have to die and the next in line gets stronger.

Apparently it's cheaper on iOS. Had I known that, I would have got it on my ipod instead. Regardless, it's quite the run 3-match puzzle with a blend of RPG to it. Quite the simple game and yet it keeps me playing from time to time. Music matches the game well too.

If you enjoyed the hell out of Diablo or Diablo 2, then you should enjoy this one, as it's by what used to be Blizzard North (made the first two Diablos).

As far as any dungeon crawler goes, it's hard to pass judgement. It's the same song and dance. You played one, you've basically played them all. What is/was lacking in this game, can be made up with mods (if someone's made one tailored to your liking).

All and all, I would say this is a good one to pick up. Worth the $20, but better when cheaper.

Pretty decent on the tower defense take. I also like how one's character can go in battle and kill things themselves.
