Disappointingly unstable. Even ignoring the myriads of other problems, the friend system just plain sucks. Doesn't work well over half the time, which means no playing with friends.

This is essentially a walking simulator, with nearly no content.

Setting defaults are painfully bad, and I had to turn down most of them to half just for it to be more bearable. Which might just be me, but still a gripe. Commentary often slows down or outright stops the player from moving, which is just annoying. There's quite a large distance between mushrooms and skulls, but at least skulls appear on the radar when you're near them, but given the walking speed and there being no form of sprint, it's just incredibly boring.

My biggest gripe are the textures though, there's a warbling, warping and waviness to them as you move that is just distracting and kind of makes my eyes bleed after a while.

Over all, didn't expect much. Was still disappointed.

Quite a short game, but decent for what it is. My only gripe is the forced reading speed, I read pretty fast, and though I don't blaze through things. I will admit to it being painfully slow at times. Though I suspect it was an artistic choice, as it were. Aside from that, I liked the twist, though it was pretty obvious.

Try it, if you're curious.

The reviews made me think it was pretty bad, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. It still feels and acts like a really early access game though, so keep that in mind. But in its current state I can not recommend this.

The controls are a bit wonky at parts, but are playable. Slow mouse movements equal fast turning, and fast mouse movements equal slow turning.

There are however, quite a few problems.

One minor, the hitbot of one of the tree stubs at the fireplace, bottom left in the direction of the two grills, has a wonky hitbox and you can climb it from behind, but not from the left side when looking at the fireplace. There's another one on the right side where the texture isn't connecting properly.

The game gives no hints to what to do, no indication or anything really. Meet some friends it says in the description here, but then what? Give in-game hints as well.

Work on map loading, I've experienced spawning underneath the map.

Add a life counter! How am I supposed to know how many times I can die before game over? There is no indication to that.

I'd say there are three major issues with the game.

The big red glowing ♥♥♥♥ that shoots lasers is waaaay to OP right now. There is absolutely no way to dodge it. It makes no noise at all, giving no indication to where it is. Sometimes it's just there, ripping you a new one. Sometimes you're walking through the woods and a laser hits you from directly above because there was literally no indication that it was there, but hey, it was behind a damned tree, but it's way to hard to see that, or even notice unless you have the camera faced to the sky.

Essentially, it needs to have some sounds it makes. Anything! To give an indication that it is there. I'd even add an arrow pointing towards it when it is near a player because it's hard to know with the wonky audio.

Another thing. Nerf that damned laser, make the player able to dodge it somehow. Even if it is a tad rare. Let's say the beam hits a tree, yay, you didn't get hit. That makes clearings dangerous because there's a lot of open space to get hit in. Instead of you know, clipping through everything and instantly killing anything it touches.

And damn, work on some more setting! No audio control? Really? The audio is way to loud at the beginning and the only way to control it is to tab out and control it from the audio panel. Also, add some settings for mouse sensitivity.

Final note: I wouldn't say the game is "bad" exactly. It certainly isn't good in it's current state, but the concept can be made intersting as long as the game is overhauled. Remember to get someone to beta test that isn't part of the team, that way you get outside views on what the game is.

God... just... just NO! If I could remove the game from my library I would do so in a heartbeat.... I wish I used my tiny brain before I bought this *Sigh* Anyway, the game is buggy, the npcs are scripted (they always spawn in the same place basically) undefeatable bosses, buggy cut-scenes... EVERYTHING IN THIS GAME SUCKS!! Well the MP might be a little fun... I never tested it because I tried to play, but after six hours I just gave up! (There was one level in this game that I actually enjoyed, and it lasted for like 8 minutes...)
