Pals are good to have

My original review was less kind and I've left it here to remind people of the poor launch as much as I love the game and the developer, they screwed up when they released an unfinished game that could have been delayed by only a month or two.

Updated Review:
The game is now as it should have at least been at launch.
It's a great step forward in the genre and all of the new features are amazing.
So happy it's fixed now and I look forward to many hours of enjoyment.

Launch Review:
What an absolute disaster. I was so hyped for this game, more than anything else this year.
The game is clearly unfinished and they are basically using the PC market as testers. I’m using an RX 7900 XTX and the game stutters heavily even at lower settings.

I will update this review if and when it’s fixed but for now I sadly can not recommend it to anyone.

I have always had the highest praise for Paradox Interactive, but after this they should be embarrassed and I hope they do something significant to make up for the spit in the face to their fans that is Cities Skylines 2

Mind blowing journey of nostalgia blended with immersive audio and visual stimuli. A must own experience.

Gameplay is good.
However after a week of no connection issues, the servers have died and I can't get a match anymore?
I've been trying on and off over the last 24 hours to get a game and the one time i did the game crashed after less than 2 minutes.

Steam needs to refund my money as this is not "fit for purpose"

I have no choice but to contact the ACCC to lodge a complaint to get my money back.

A half finished and overated game.

It sucks that they make you pay extra for cars and tracks that should be included for the main game price. Of course there is a lot of mod support adding cars and tracks, but a lot of that should have been in the game to begin with.

Not worth full price, but if it's on sale and you don't mind the lack of cars then buy it.

I'm 10 hours in and I'm loving it!

Story wise it's quite enthraling and well written/directed.
Gameplay is very fun.

Don't listen to the negative reviews, they don't really give any usefull information.

My only complaint is, when using a controller you still need to use Q on the keyboard to close tutorial/info windows. I'm sure this will get fixed soon.

I highly recommend this game.

Stardew Valley is awesome!
It's like Harvest Moon on steroids.


10/10 would plough again.
