Proof for optimism!

Not a huge fan of FPS, especially not multiplayer - but I love Titanfall. Was gifted it by a dear friend, now play it very often. This game feels very carefully and lovingly designed - the movement, the gamemodes, the weapons and abilities all feel very well thought out in an attempt to create the best experience for all - not just the winners. I am pretty bad at the game - but still have loads of fun. As an interesting result, the lobbies tend to be far less toxic than the few other FPS games I have tried - a welcome change.

Being able to come home from work and bang out a fun 20mins of chaotic sci-fi carnage feels like a dream to my childhood self, and it is the reality Titanfall 2 has crafted.

Great combat. Good graphics and decently optimized. Good mod support and a still alive multiplayer.

Reject Sandstorm; Embrace tradition.

Rainbow Six but with split screen co-op and retro graphics. And less salt, generally.
Gunplay is simple, but extremely reliable.
Classes are unique, not only in their abilities, but what weapons they can use. Assaulter gets Assault rifles/SMGs, Breacher gets shotguns, Sheild (you can guess), Fergie gets pistols she can dual-weild and Recon gets silenced SMGs.
SMGs/Assault Rifles do rapid damage with a bit of range, shotguns blow open doors and one-shot at close range, but have long reloads and have low range, sheilds deflect almost all damage but slow you down and only let you use a pistol, which are fairly weak.
Levels are very well designed and fun, with good enemy placement and cover that you can use effectively, especially during co-op.
Great variety of enemies, including basic gunmen, knife weilding psychos, hostage takers and armored professionals.
Great sense of humor too.
5/5, definitely worth it.

Some of the most charming characters, the best Co-op and gunplay and the best humor.

Same classic Counter strike gameplay, hugely impro\ved graphics, and new game modes. Definitly a must buy.
