I've put enough hours in to finish the main game and the epilogue, So I've seen most of the content. Its a fairly good sequel to Hades 1, but has some drawbacks. This review contains minor spoilers.

-The weapons in the game are mostly ok, but I feel the ones in hades 1 were more fun. I think a big problem is this game relies on these things called Omega moves which requires a charge up time. This makes you have to play smarter and not just spam attack + special like in the first game. I get why they went this route, but for whatever reason it was more satisfying in the first game to spam attacks. Its different and takes some getting used to. Sprinting is also more sluggish now.

-This one is admittedly more woke than the first. Hephestus in a wheelchair, Chaos now looks more flamboyant, diverse gods, etc. Sadly Supergiant couldnt help themselves, but to try to get some woke points with this one. Good news is, it doesnt go too far beyond that. Its just these dumb design choices mainly which were completely unnecessary.

-Too much of the character dialog is about nothing. I know hades 1 was like this as well, but theres way too much dialog just talking about mundane things or topics that don't relate at all to the story. Its like 90% nonsense talk and 10% actual meaningful dialog. I found myself skipping alot of it cause it felt neverending.

So even with these negatives though, its still a decent sequel to the first. The music is amazing, the bosses are interesting and fun, and there is ALOT of content in this game, more so than the first. If you played the first, you should try this one out as well.

70% Metroidvania, 30% souls like. If you dont like metroidvania, I would stay away though, unless you use a guide. Because there will be a ton of backtracking. But the game does a great job keeping you engaged as you explore new areas. Unlike Metroid though your primary weapon is a nail and not a gun. Boss battles can be VERY hard though. My primary complaint is some bosses are so far away from the save point(bench) and you have to go through a bunch of enemies just to get back there. This game was made in 2017 though, so thats probably why its like that. Heres hoping silksong is just as good if not better.

Minimal spoilers ahead. Took me a while, but I finally finished this damn game. I did about 80% of the intel which is the open world stuff in each region.

- Visually, its pretty good. Outdoors sometimes looks washed out, sometimes too much light or sometimes too little. I tried different settings, but stayed with DLSS on. Still never was quite right. Performance for me was ok using a 2060 RTX. Some stuttering did happen though. Character models for the main characters look superb.

-Gameplay is more or less the same from the previous game. Its an action RPG that lets you pause combat to make strategic choices. Some wont like it, but I consider it apart of the game's strengths.

-Chudly is by far the most obnoxious character. He talks WAY too much in this game. Anytime you complete an intel(which there are alot of), he will message you saying something completely pointless. You will definitely wish chudly return to the lifestream by the end.

-The Story is kind of a mixed bag for me. Without going into spoilers, I just dont like the direction its going and is very confusing as to whats going on. I wont say much else, but to me, the main story is one of the game's weaker points.

-Side quests are usually associated with someone from your party, and theres quite a few of these. Some are good, some can be bad, and some are actually funny. Its your typical go here and kill some monsters alot of the time, but they still managed to make these interesting.

-Music is really good. Alot of it is the same tunes from the original FF7 but reduxed. No complaints here.

-I hope you like Mini games, cause this game has a ton of them. Some will be better than others. I kinda got fatigued from all the mini games. The one I actually did like is Queen's Blood. Which is a card game with like 150 different cards. Very fun little card game they made.

-The DEI nonsense is somewhat present, but nowhere near as bad in other AAA games. You'll notice it in the NPCs mostly.

-Overall its a very long game. I think the main thing they went wrong with is the all the open world intel. Its a huge time sink to do every region's intel. They even have those stupid Assassin creed like towers for showing more parts of the map. Yuck! I still give it a thumbs up though, because theres a lot of content in this game, and there are great moments to be had. The story disappointed me, but im hoping the 3rd part makes up for it.

I played this game on the gamecube over 20 years ago. Aspyr basically did a port with not many enhancements. Its an ok game, but it does feel dated gameplay wise. It does however, feel like a legitimate Star Wars game compared to recent titles. I still liked it with all its flaws.

Pros:
+ Good Story and characters which is rare in modern day Star Wars
+ Mostly playable port on PC
+ Carries nostalgia from pre-disney Star Wars
+ Good backstory on Jango Fett.
+ Obviously looks much better/cleaner on PC.

Cons:
- Cutscenes getting cropped. It seems it crops really bad in cutscenes for any widescreen setting.
- Dated gameplay mechanics.
- Game would not recognize my controller until I unplugged another one i had in.
- Controller mapping cannot be remapped. My xbox controller default mapping was pretty funky, very different from when I played on gamecube. I got used to it, but it should offer some remapping.
- Boss battles can be easily cheesed.

Wanted to like this game, but its just not worth it in the end. When you start, theres a good gameplay loop of getting fish, upgrading your boat, repairs, etc. This is the best part of the game. Problem is, it starts out strong and then starts to fizzle out as you play onward.

The Story is the worst part of this game, because its nonsensical, uninteresting and doesn't feel well thought out. Even after finishing the game, I honestly couldnt tell you what the story is of this game. Theres little messages in a bottles to read, but honestly you could skip them all since they dont have any meaning. Even in smaller games, its important to have a somewhat comprehensible story. Felt very unsatisfying in the end.

Pros:
+ Widescreen support
+ High res detail
+ Preserved oldschool midi music
+ Can actually play it properly now with mouse and keyboard.
+ Some bonus content

Cons:
- TOO EXPENSIVE.

This game is mainly for the oldschool Dark Forces fans. At its current price of $30, its too much for the regular gamer. Still like that theres now an easy way to play Dark Forces now instead of having to mess around with dosbox.

I play as the Memphis man and im on the road to master. Theres a bunch of small things I dont like, but overall the core game is good. World Tour mode(Single player adventure) is a nice extra they put in to make it a more interesting feature rich fighting game. Seems like a good entry into fighting games.

Probably the best mountain bike game ive ever played. Music really has the "Send It" vibe too. Lots of fun to be had.
