It is called a DLC, but it feels like a new game. Or maybe two.
A real bargain for that price.

A small but well written storyline (much better than the base game story), large fleet battles, three massive warships to earn, each with a unique ability. A proper Warlord must fly a Titan !

A small, cheap DLC that expands on the bounty system (which came as a free update) and gives you access to three new, nice looking ships.

Recommended if you want those ships, or challenging bounties.

About Early Access :
LGM is one of the few companies which can make EA a positive experience. Not only they deliver the game, but they answer questions in the kindest manner, solve issues quickly and listen to every player suggestion, trying to put as many as possible into SPG Warlords.

About the game :
I read a few errors about it, so let put it straight : this is not a full 4x game, it is a genre hybrid between a space sim (you fly your own capital ship), a strategic layer (fleets, conquest, research...), and a RPG (levels, skills, perks...)

This means there is an ridiculously high number of things to do, and I will not list them all because it would take pages. Let say there is only a downtime if you want to.
Only drawback of an hybrid game, some parts are not as deep as they are in specialized titles (do not expect a Stellaris or Homeworld clone). Balancing the whole thing is not easy too.

But the most important thing is, the game is very fun, in particular excellent fleet battles.
It is also easily moddable, which let you play the way you want.

I happily recommend this game to any space sim fan.
