I tried to like it. I'm a huge Civilization fan and I've played almost all of them. But there's something different about Civ 6 that I can't quite put my finger on. The AI is different, Some of the units act differently now in ways that I personally don't like. On the options menu there's an option to turn advisors on and off to help you learn the game. I found the option almost useless. It offers no deeper help of the in-game mechanics, doesn't explain how so deals work with other civilizations, almost doesn't explain how to keep a city running smoothly, and doesn't explain the requirements behind certain builds and how the requirements change over time. But by far the worst thing about the game as a whole, is how savvy you must be in order to win or even keep up. I'm on the easiest difficulty option and I'm, barely managing to keep up with the rest of the game, if you're just coming in, chances are you're going to have a bad time for your first 45 or so hours or until you really start to take notes on how the mechanics work. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone just now getting into the Civilization series as a whole. On top of the the DLC is in excess of $107 and a lot of what I've found online suggests that the best victories and games are found in the DLC, the base game offers almost nothing in terms of exciting scenarios, or interesting civilizations with even better abilities. 2K released this game as a cash grab in my opinion. They put no thought behind it, and I consider it a failed experiment. I pray that the next game is better.

OK, soooo I just learned what capping is. Someone want to clearly explain to me why I got kicked out of a PAYLOAD RACE for moving the damn payload???? That is upsetting to me. I'm am playing an OBJECTIVE map and I get kicked for performing the objective?? Seriously kids? If they want to play a deathmatch then go ♥♥♥♥ing play a different game mode. Don't kick people out of a game for playing the game. Giving Team Fortress 2 a bad review for this. Kids should not have control over who gets kicked, they should leave it up to a program like fairfight. Very upset.
