Episode 2 is definitely written better than the first one. It's not trying too hard and it has already gotten a few chuckles out of me. I didn't like episode 1 too much, but I liked it enough to get me to the next one. Glad I stuck it out.

I played CIV 3 foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Finally gave part 4 a good try. I like it.

edit: BUG: It has trouble launching from within Steam. Workaround is to launch it in Steam so it shows it is running (the process also shows in task manager, yet no game is seen anywhere), and then launch it a second time using the Civilization4.exe file or a shortcut thereof.

ALSO, make sure mouse trailing is turned off in your Windows mouse settings or you will not have a visible cursor to use within the game.

Really fun. Super easy to pick and play. Upgrading your car winning races or derby's for cash is addictive.

Super fun. Even in late 2019.

Pretty freakin' MEH.

I don't recommend "meh" games. There are too many other games to play to not waste your time on something so very mediocre. I only played it solo, and it got boring VERY quickly. It just seems very cheap and low-budget.

It's probably more fun with friends, but I still can't see it keeping my attention for very long at all.

Meh/10

Yes, I recommend it.

It's not the most hard-core metroidvania platformer or anything, but I grew up watching the show and played the original games on NES and Gameboy almost 30 years ago, so there is a nostalgia factor for sure. However, it is still a good game. Even on normal it is still difficult, like an old-school platformer should be. I'm almost done with normal at 15 hours, and I only have half the achievements, so there is a replay factor there. With all achievements I would estimate at least 40 hours total of play time. It's worth it, but get it on sale.

I finally beat it after 22 hours, but I almost wasn't able to due to a bug (likely from having an Nvidia card. One cutscene after beating the final boss would always freeze the game, so I had to pause and skip the cutscene right after beating him. Of course the game didn't end there, and there was a super difficult "escape" level. It was very hard even on normal difficulty.

8/10

It's a good classic point&click adventure game. It is only very slightly dated. It has mostly aged well. The cursor gives you just two choices on each interactive object, simplying your choices like a modern adventure game.

Puzzle design is weird, but you get used to it, and you may need to use a guide a few times. You need to try doing the same things you've already tried multiple times, because this game is a little more realistic. The protagonist will NOT pick up an item unless it is ready to be used for the next step of a puzzle. Go check the bag/desk/closet/etc again later on and you may find another object you need, but that the character would not pick up (or even see/notice) until a further point along in the current puzzle being solved. It's annoying and bad puzzle design, but knowing this helps you not get stuck as much. Also there is a lot of pixel-hunting for hard to find items. That shows the game's age. No ability to instantly highlight all interactive points on the screen like in most modern adventure games.

Overall, definitely a classic of the genre to be checked out, despite the occasional clunky puzzle design.

Super easy to understand fighting system. Everything is front and backward hadukens for each button, and there is only 3 attack buttons total: punch, kick, and weapon, plus a dash button. also a throw move, and a combo break move. Simple tap of either attack button is the weak attack. Simultaneous forward or back along with attack button is either med or heavy power attack. That's it. Pick a favorite fighter and memorize what each of those things do because sometimes the move is a super low attack or one that goes more upward and out. Diff attacks have diff distances, too, so memorize the moves so you don't whiff in front of your opponent. This game is very fast-paced and all about combos and being the one to strike first. Very aggressive. Some enemies have some good long range weapons though, that can help keep your opponent away.

Bottom line this is one of the most fun fighting games I have played because of its simple fight system. Everyone can haduken.

10/10 would spam haduken again.

It's worth it for $1or $2 because it seriously has maybe an hour of playtime, including maybe ten mins to go through it really quick to pick up a couple of loose achievements.

The ending comes very suddenly and is up to interpretation. However, if you visit the game's discussion board, you can figure out the intended interpretation based on some comments and the developer's response to one of them.

It definitely has a cool atmosphere and a mysterious whats-going-on-here vibe. Again, worth it for the low price. A bite-sized story, with a few puzzles, only one of which I got stuck on.

It's worth the dollar if you plan on replaying this a few times to get the achievements and multiple endings. I wish the setting would stick though. The fact that it doesn't is very annoying. I don't have kids.

Very addictive with the right DLC tables. This has been my go-to casual game during study breaks.

I've never been good at Pinball, so this is really fun for me being able to play as many games as I want without losing a ton of money.

MY FAVE TABLES SO FAR (Tables can be hit & miss. I prefer the less cluttered layouts with clear ramps and orbits. Read the Table Guides. It's more fun when you understand it):

The Walking Dead: Very fun and atmospheric. Highly replayable. Challenging, but not rage-inducing. Just make sure to secure those kickbacks first by hitting that spinner over and over until you have both kickbacks enabled before going on to try to beat any modes and missions.

DOOM is my next favorite table! Great music, atmosphere, not too cluttered and a similar layout to the Walking Dead table, and VERY fun missions and modes. It's a more forgiving table than TWD.

**NO LAG issues like others have reported.

**ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 Mobo, 1060 GTX w/6GB, 16GB DDR3 RAM, Core i7 2nd Generation, Win7-64bit, built 7 years ago and still kicks butt.
