Relaxing, challenging, I found the map challenges fun and diverse; reminded me of Roller Coaster Tycoon missions (you're doing the same thing with slightly different twists.)

Works well on steam deck, I had to map the controller layout, but that was simple and effective

Genre defining game. 100hrs barely commpleted 10% of the game. Everyone I introduce, enjoys the game.

I probably have some where around 20 hours played, but mostly offline so it didn't track.

The only thing I would say in my review, is this game is best played 100 percent blind.

It was also good enough that I will buy Lucas Popes' next game without question.

I played papers please before this, they're different. It just cements Lucas as one of the best game developers of our time.

Trying to review anything over 100hours played.

I played all of my hours offline single player, no review videos guides etc. I think this game was amazing when played like this, I felt no pressure to spend campaign points certain ways etc. That is the key to this game the mystery of what is coming, can you prepare for everything? Keep in mind basically all my gaming history is RTS, so i was smart enough to run for a few economic corner stones on intuition alone.

That said, dying can suck in this game, the computer is deadly if allowed into your camp, and sometimes the waves come out of left field causing you to wipe 30-40minutes into a map. That said my zombie deaths did hurt, but i was able to over come. The computers remain difficult which is uncommon for a single player RTS.

The one place i couldn't overcome was the ARPG levels, the combat is extremely slow, I built my single player character to run away most all fights and just kite zombies around collecting stuff... this was alright, but in my campaign i was playing at 400% and the single player, to keep it short was just a disaster. I ended up changing the difficulty mid campaign to the easiest settings just for these maps (no gameplay reason no reason not to).

Id play again, best part was playing blind not knowing what each new upgrade would bring, estimated worth ~15-20$.

I try and review any game i put more than 100 hrs into. But really the fact i have more than 100 hours should tell the story. I have no expansions, 153 hours on base game.

Its a fun city builder, very easy to pick up.
Normal gameplay would go something like build a massive metropolis, realize your traffic is terrible, tear your entire city apart trying to fix traffic, get frustrated and restart your city swearing to focus city layout for perfect traffic, this cycle repeats. im on my 10th city or something.

You get exactly whats advertised. I purchased the game as an incentive to practice typing and 10-key, definitely a good way to pass some time in a productive manner.

My main request to devs would be a larger sound track, in this day and age 1$ per song could probably do some damage.

(Paid 99c for the game on Summer Sale).

Scary and fun game, I like to have my friends with little to no gaming experience play this game. Controls are simple and intuative even for amatures, and dispite how prepared one may be for the jump scares the game will still have its laughable moments.

I havent played any of the other FNAF games, however feel this is a great game for any collection. The game has wide reach with a lot of players hearing of it but not playing, also comes in at an affordable price point <5$.

Large communitiy, good entry price, memorable gaming moments.
