I wanted to love this game, but I just can't recommend it. You're better of sticking with Civ 5. Beyond Earth is no more than a reskinned Civ 5 with back to barebones features and mediocre changes to theme.

Blood Bowl is literally the best thing to ever be a thing. Praise be to Nuffle, the most glorious and fickle!

Just awesome. Controls aren't overly complicated, visuals are fantastic, get to create your own fighter I mean I don't think I could have asked for anything more.

Really fun turn-based strategy game. Based on a popular tabletop miniatures war game, some alterations made to suit PC play. I have no experience with the tabletop version, so I can't compare how accurate it is, but I can say it's a lot of fun and the models look awesome.

Fantastic. Faithful and solid adaptation of an awesome tabletop card game. It has a good tutorial for those who are not familiar with the tabletop game. Definitely recommend.

I really want to like this game. It SEEMS really good. Unfortunately there has been a bug since it launched which causes the crosshair to not lock to center screen so it moves around freely making it next to impossible to aim and navigate properly. The dev knows about this issue, but all of the suspected causes do not apply to my situation, and the suggested fixes do not remedy the issue.

Fun asymmetrical shooter. 4v1 humans vs monster. Seemingly rather simple but with competent players the challenge is real, and enjoyable. Reminiscent of L4D, but with shorter matches. The only problem is I don't think it should be a $60 game, I'm thinking $40 tops and I will wait for it to be cheaper even.

The aspect ratio and black bars and FPS didn't bother me. The absolutely hideous keyboard/mouse controls made this unplayable for me. I was fighting the controls more than anything else and couldn't even bring myself to finish chapter 1. This is the definition of ♥♥♥♥♥ PC port. Maybe I'll get around to playing it with a controller at some point... maybe...

This game is just plain fun. I was never a big fan of AC. I enjoyed the Batmans, but never enough to finish them. Shadow of Mordor though I will be playing for a while. Combat is brutal and smooth. Some people may find it repetitive, but the pacing is good and your fighting ability gets more fleshed out as you go so there's always something new to look forward to, and there's many ways of approaching the tasks you are presented with in the game as well.

Early Access Review
Super fun. I love rogue-likes generally, and this one is a new interesting twist. Someone else said it's part deck builder and that actually fits, though if I didn't play a lot of table top games I wouldn't have known what that meant. Basically, as you explore you collect coins. These coins are different abilities, like Hit, or Heal, or Defend. You use these coins in combat, AND in the shop. When you use a coin in combat, it is spent. If you have 4 Hit coins and it takes 2 to kill a mob, then you'll only have 2 left after combat. Seems to be plenty of characters to unlock with different bonuses that change how you attack the levels. Highly recommend Coin Crypt.
