Yes! This game is a definite hit for me. The combat system is super fun to work with, simple to learn, but deep enough to encourage and reward strategic planning. The story is interesting, and the banter between characters is fun, the writing is good. I'm someone that's allergic to woke nonsense and I haven't seen any of that junk. I've had maybe 3 or 4 crashes, but never caused me to lose any progress and it's quick to get back into the game. People complaining of long load times must have harddrives from 1996 because everything loads snappy for me. All settings maxed out and playing in 4K on my TV I get a steady 60fps no issue. For me, this blows X-Com away, way more fun so far...

20 minutes felt like an hour. It's neat, but not life changing or anything.. at the sale price of 4 bucks, it's cool. 13? No way.

10/10. Did the 3 tutorial scenarios. Started up a real campaign. Got blown up by a hostile 2 minutes into letting my captain explore the starting zone.

Nope. This game looks cute, the art style is great, but I could tell within 10 minutes that the controls were going to bug me and everything being in some nonsense runic language that you apparently won't ever get to decode until much later, and doing so is said to be a tedious slog, is just a turn off to me. A box will pop up asking you YES OR NO and the description of what you are choosing is just weird runes.... like.. what? Even if it's just something as simple as picking up a key in first minutes... like, I can infer what it's asking there, but then there's signs and dialogue and a tutorial page thing all with seemingly pertinent information that you just cannot read.

Excellent. Top notch VR right here. Atmosphere and story and everything is awesome and the controls are well done and not gimmicky. Shooting guns in VR is something many other titles rest on to the detriment of everything else, and that's not the case here.

You know that scene in the movie Ready Player One where the bad guy is talking about how much of a player's screen can be taken up with ads? That's how the UI feels in this game. Between that and the god awful controls this was an easy refund for me.
