Duke is getting my write-in vote for the first December Steam Awards -- I'm calling it "The 'Booted Up' award -- not only did you vote for or help crowd-source this game, you actually installed, played, and finished it!"

I must admit, I was reticent about playing as Duke for a good length longer than the intro, but even with all his initial awkwardness, the big lug does grow on you. The game itself is also a little awkward at times, but makes up for it with excellent backdrop art and music, logically-solvable puzzles (perhaps too easy), mostly-good dialog, and a great effort at having a response for nearly all combinations of item-on-item attempts. All in all, I'm happy to have backed it, which is not something I can say often!
