Okay, this is probably a controversial opinion, but it's not a good game. The characters are uninspired, the story leaves much to be desired, the game looks (and feels) unfinished, and honestly feels like a big asset flip. It's pretty much Garten of Banban with better graphics. The voice acting is decent but could be better, and the maps are very small and don't feel like a real place. It's very easy and I beat it in under 40 minutes, and the controls feel kinda clunky. When you use anything that lets you see your arms, they look stiff. The flashlight is intrusive, and the movement is very slow. Jumping does just about nothing, and the few moments of horror are either just Garten of Banban chase copy #52 or bad jumpscares. It seems to be another Garten of Banban situation where you get 30-60 minutes of content per "chapter", and each chapter will be $1-5 or so. I just cannot recommend it due to this, though I think it has lots of potential.

Before anything, you know what everyone else has been saying, #FixTF2 and https://save.tf/ are really important for this game's survival, PLEASE support them! :)

Now, this review is honest, and I'll restrain myself from complaining about the community side of things too much. I would recommend the game if the people around it were better.

Now, I have not played TF2 that much, but my time on it has been rather positive. Well, in community servers at least. Every time I try the valve servers I can't even move out of spawn without dying instantly to a bot. Valve Anticheat is more of a suggestion than an anticheat. I know it's been said so much, but it's true.

Community servers are the way to go. Not only are they well-moderated, but very fun. RTD servers are especially unique to me due to the randomness and fun of it. Though more vanilla servers are just as fun too.

The classes are all interesting and have their own gameplay styles, rather you want to stand back and heal the team as a medic, keep the control point as an engineer, or rocket jump into combat as a soldier. Each class also has many weapons to use and unlock, stock miniguns to flare guns there are many ways to customize the classes to how you play and how you want to play.

The art style is very unique as well, with a very cartoony art style while keeping the violence. The fun (and funny) nature of the game perfectly match the art style, and both pair surprisingly well with each class and their play styles.

Okay, here's the community part. Please note all of this part may change as the community changes.
The community is both very welcoming to new players, but very hostile and toxic to them at the same time. From my experiences people have been rather nice and haven't been rude in the slightest, though plenty of others have experienced doxing, leaking, harassment, swatting, and more. Many members have been outed as pedos and horrible people.

In conclusion, it is an amazing game with a bad community. I would recommend it to others if the community was better, but that's why we should fix TF2. #FixTF2

So, "Nothing," where do I even begin? It's like a blank canvas, a serene oasis in the chaotic realm of game design. You start the game, and guess what? You do nothing. It's pure genius! The minimalistic approach to gameplay is a breath of fresh air. I mean, who needs action, adventure, or any form of engagement when you can just do nothing? It's the epitome of relaxation, a digital zen garden for your mind.

Have you ever thought about the different textures and flavors that various cheeses offer? I once spent an entire evening contemplating the intricacies of a well-aged cheddar while playing "Nothing." The game provided the perfect backdrop for my cheese musings. It's incredible how a game that requires no effort can enhance the appreciation of life's simple pleasures, like a good wheel of cheese.

And don't even get me started on the wonders of quantum physics. I found myself pondering the mysteries of the universe while embracing the nothingness of "Nothing." The game's existential undertones served as a catalyst for my exploration into the profound questions of existence. I mean, who needs a gripping narrative when you can contemplate the very fabric of reality itself?

"Nothing" is not just a game; it's a lifestyle. It's a doorway to a world where doing nothing is everything. It's an experience that transcends the boundaries of traditional gaming and delves into the realms of philosophical contemplation, culinary appreciation, and theoretical physics. So, if you're looking for a game that's more than just a game, dive into the exquisite void of "Nothing" and let your mind wander into the infinite possibilities of, well, nothingness!

This is just a genuinely bad game. The controls are clunky, the art direction feels nearly nonexistent, and the mechanics are genuinely unfun. Really the only plus is that it is packed full of content, but even that is too much. It's a confusing directionless mess of a game. If you want a hard 2d game, play Cuphead, not this trash.

(EDIT : Yes, I did recently play though the game. I still think it's a bad game though. I gave it a second chance by playing it, and that second chance did not change my mind.)

It is a very good game. Most of the negatives seem minimal and or have been fixed by Valve, and it is generally not buggy. So far I've played for a while, and I've seen no bugs and barely any hackers in the many matches I've been in so far. Fun to play, easy to pick up, but hard to master. It is fun to start, fun to master. It looks great, and even on my 2016 PC it runs over 100 FPS even on medium-high settings! The only issue I've had so far is toxic players and sweats camping with AWPs the entire round, witch is not inherently an issue with the game. Maps are detailed, FPS is smooth, very fun, I'm going to rate it 9/10. Only reason it's not 10/10 is because occasionally people are idiots and vote to kick me for being "bad" and annoying people with AWPs.

It is a really good game, maybe not for everyone, but it is one of the top 10 games on steam for me! It has amazing content on the base, but it has even greater community made content, ranging from the simple yet complicated level editor, to even editing the textures to customize your cube more! The possibilities are endless, and that is the best thing about it!
