If you can get past the que, this is the best MMO I have played since the classic wow days. So much to kill n craft. Combat is not your typical stand there and kill it. IT requires skill to dodge and aim to a degree. Solo or with friends I recommend this game.

Not my favorite TW game but it is fun and easy to get into. The TW factions mod makes this better so you can play any nation from the start. AI is lacking in some battles, especially in the center of towns. So beware of shenanigans with a side of stupidity.

I will say, this game seems to me to be more of a challenge to get a dynasty rolling through the ages compared to CKII. Nonetheless, if you enjoyed CKII, you will like this game. Right off the bat I like that you can play anything on the map, no need for a silly dlc to open up factions(at least so far). I have been playing Paradox Games since EU1 and was one of the first to see CKII hands on(was the chosen fan at PDX CON), so I have been around the Paradox block. That being said, this is maybe the best game they have released to this date and even in this early version of the game I endorse this title.

I won this game for free when it first came out from a gamersgate giveaway, back in the day at launch. Yes, that is how long I have owned it. Unfortunately back then, this game did not run the greatest on the rig I had back then. Now I own a god gaming PC and I can't say enough how much I am enjoying this game. It has the great feel and setting of the original Shogun mixed with the elements of the OG Rome Total War. The simplicity and heart the game has makes me want to play day and night.

Reminds me of a sandbox Final Fantasy Tactics. Ah how I miss the 90s

Ok, this game is fun and will continue to get better. It has a few things to polish as does any early access game. It is easily the best they have brought out and if you like the past versions they have released, grab this game. Now if we can get a Fire with Sword mod, my life would be complete in the Mount Blade world.

Great game, just the usual flood of DLC to make it an expensive game.

Your typical ageod game but man does the attrition ravage your troops during the winter.

Napoleonic Wars meet Battlefield series. I must say, the people in chat are quite amusing and a few have some good taste in music. This game does have a bit of a learning curve with learning the trajectory of bullet drop and mastering cannons. Depending on the map it can be a long walk back to the action, so don't die.

If you like Paradox games, this one is fun and easy to get into. Not quite a deep as some of their other titles, but a great updated version of the classic EU Rome. Plays similar to March of Eagles where it is a heavy military focus. This is not a bad thing, but I imagine they will do more with the future free patches and hopefully not bleeding dry DLC. Lots of options to play a ton of different groups and have fun in this simulator.
