it's fine, a little buggy and crashy and i have problems with the level design

i get this game is going for doom/wolfenstien aesthetics but the EXTREMELY repetitive-feeling rooms and the heavy use of billboards just looks pretty ugly to me. the visuals look nifty in the trailer, but not so much when you get depth perception involved.
feels unpolished, lacking in variety, and *slow*. moving in this game feels like steering a blimp (riding on mucus helps, but doesnt save much). this game mightve been great if it had another year or two in the oven, but it didnt, so it's not.

id say it was fun. im yet to play the first fight crab, which is apparently better, but i feel like its worth its price at least

better than i thought itd be! feels like a skating game. real satisfying. certainly a weird choice to market the game with atrioc of all people? cdawg gives a good perfomance, though

edit: there are a few notable oversights, like missing geometry in a few places visible missing backfaces, camera clipping, some weird shader bugs (AMD), and the game could be prettier (some particles and lighting wouldnt hurt), but these are all pretty minor and dont hurt the gameplay experience considering they aren't super common - I'll let it slide, especially 2 days after release, but i hope those get fixed at some point

IT'S a video game,

this game is really weird and interesting. i dont know if it's good, but it's holding my attention for sure.
edit: this review was left at 6 hours of gameplay. 7 hours later, this game is extremely good. I thoroughly didn't expect to be this entertained by it. The point of this game seems on the surface to be reusing content, but unironically there is so much handcrafted content in this game it's crazy. I'm gonna be replaying this forever.
