This entire game is just a mary-sue simulator with your main protagonist: Clementine.
From the moment the tutorial introduced her, I said to my friend "She's gonna be the savior of the universe, right?"
Low and behold, +-12 hours in, she saves the universe. You're just a side-character in her story. This is how you NOT write a female character. I disliked her as soon as the first quest was "Find Clementine". After they already showed her god-like powers.

Pro tip:
For your own sanity, mute the dialogue, and cover the questlog on your screen with cardboard or something
