I can't really recommend this game past the campaign due to the structured pay to win system coupled with incredibly low drop chances. 42 world bosses so far with no gear drops. 28 guild bosses with 1 drop. If you want a raid or world boss loot item be prepared to swipe your credit card. 50 dollars to 1000 dollars per slot.

Great game, it's diablo/poe like but with a lot of the epic quests and MMO feel that WoW used to have back in the day. I'm looking forward to playing the heck outta it.

Fair warning though, the bots are terrible. The devs need to do something about it and soon.

This game replaced civilization as my go to strategy game. it's also amazing for playing coop or competitively with friends. The biggest complaint I have is that the developers should spend more time making it so the end game doesn't destroy your computer and start glitching, I've played almost 600 hours and finished a game maybe once or twice. Not because I'm losing, but I get tired of waiting for 1-2 minutes for a save/AI refresh at the end of each month. I'm running this on a 3700X with 32GB of DDR4 an PCIe Gen 4 1TB Nvme drive and an Nvidia 1080GTX. I've got plenty of compute power. The game is just horribly optimized.

This is the best game framework and physics mechanics ever created. I would recommend space engineers to anyone who has a kid (or adult) who is problem solving minded. The capabilities for construction (and destruction) in this game are endless. My only complaint is limited PvE content, however the framework for REALLY strong content is out there, and TBH... it's already existing if you are willing to dig around the workshop a little. Overall recommend buy and buy it now and you will never regret it!

I'm a massive fan of Space Engineers and think that it's one of the best games/simulations ever created. That said, I feel as though Medieval Engineers is the place where all the bad ideas went to die. It's the most buggy god awful game I've ever encountered. Basically think space engineers planets, with no machinery, no AI drones or challenge. Just pure hand mining and gathering and building, both of which are severely limited. To make things worse the game is so buggy you will find yourself crashing with regularity. If you are getting this to "play it" look elsewhere. Sorry Keen, but this game blows.

I had to write a review after seeing all the negative press. I have played world of warcraft for years and have a complete appreciation for the amount of time folks sink into a game. Wildstar is a perfect game for anyone who likes world of warcraft but finds the combat and crafting and such outdated (or if you liked the cool feel of outlands). Unfortunately nobody wants to dump the crazy amount of time they spent in WoW to start fresh in a new universe with a bunch of lore they aren't familiar with. That combined with a dropping interest in MMOs leaves games like Wildstar languishing from a low player base.

If you like multiplayer RPGs play Wildstar
1. It has the best MMO combat system with some platformer elements like diving dodging and doublejumps. (and it uses this to advantage with some very fun questing)
2. It has a great artstyle and strong sense of humor
3. It has great instances and raids that are HARD
4. The player character options are awesome with every class having both support and attack roles.
5. Dynamic crafting options are quite fun.
6. Lots of engaging quests.
7. Player houses which provide actual buffs and benefits
8. Lots of cosmetic stuff to make people happy
9. F2P with no real P2W elements.

Early Access Review
This is a great game, I picked it up for 9 bucks and it was well worth it. Yes it's buggy and the graphics are not "incredible" but it is the best darn zombie sim I have seen. This gives you a great zombie apocalypse experience. It's not bad solo, and is great when you play as a group.

After getting Orcs Must Die 2, I have to say this is one of the most addictive coop games I have played. In terms of Tower Defence often the towers are either the only focus and your struggle is with building an elaborate Maze or you have issues with time where mobs keep coming and you are trying to build on the fly. In Orcs must die they take the annoyance out of placing turrets by making them refundable and also allowing for breaks after every few waves. Even more engaging and interesting is the emphasis on personal interaction while waves are coming. It combines first person shooter elements with RPG style combat and truly makes this a fantastic game.
