Now this was a Total War game I played a crapload of back in the day. Mind you i've always been more of a sucker for The European Middle Ages. It generally appeals to me more than the Ancient Times, Gunpowder Eras or Feudal Japanese settings.

You'll like this game if you are into the old school style of shooting. I don't generally view the past with rose tinted glasses so I was only just all right with the game.

At this point i'm just writing recommendations because screw it. Short as well but it came with Portal, Half Life 2 +Ep1 and TF2. At the time, this was great value.

This was stupidly short. Thankfully it came in the Orange Box in my case but i'd hate to have been one of those who purchased this the day it came out.

The game is pretty sweet and still looks pretty good despite it's age.

I don't regret buying this game because again 40k fan/sucker/derping idiot. I really did wish they could have just made 6 truly unique campaigns for each race instead of just recycling the maps and objectives all over again. That part made me a sad panda.

If you have responsibilities, a wife, husband, children or anybody or anything that loves you the whatever the hell you do just stay away from this game. I'm glad I uninstalled it when I did because otherwise i'd put on another 50 pounds of fat and develop exima or something.

My friends thought the shooting in this game was better than ME2 but I very much disagree with them. What we both agree on is that the world was more open and was generally better built for explorations than it's sequels. Also it was actually a fairly all right setup for the things to come. Shame that what had indeed come turned out to be ass. I really wish they stuck with the ending they originally intended to have(Something to do with Dark Matter Decay and how the Reapers were consuming species so as to add more to the knowledge pool on how to stop it). Damn shame they didn't go with that instead.. but ehh i'm rambling at this point.

I liked this game alot more than Fallout 3. Mind you I really like Fallout 3 but that game was not very good with characters or having a fairly decent/passable story. Unfortunately because of some silly arbitrary metacritic score the devs missed out on getting bonuses from this game(they mised the mark by 1%).Personally I think they deserve it.

This game was from a time when some of us thought that Bioware could do no wrong.With the quality of this game can you blame some of us? It was quite good. And then Dragon Age 2 came out. And then The Old Republic. And then Mass Effect 3.
