Compared to mistake called Aura Kingdom 2 this game is better in every way. First of all, the launcher actually works! The bug devs were unable to fix in AK2 is no more in this game. Second, game allows you to play manually: all quest npc shows on map, the enemies you have to kill have "right here" above their heads so its not impossible to play this way. By all means i dont say this game is good in any way, its your stereotypical go from point a to b kill some stuff mmo with bad dialogues, but those who played the original grand fantasia might like it!

After two years, the game is finally good. Im suprised Konami out of all companies decided not to give up and saved this title after disastrous launch :O

Im very mixed with this game. Storywise it might be good but the complete lack of skill in using rpgmaker by the author makes the game look bad and thats not the only issue! All of the assets are from default rpgmaker 2003 pack and for most rpgmaker games fans is already a bad thing but also all the assets made by dev like the banner or studio logo looks absolutely disgusting. I understand not everyone is a graphic designer but cmon you can make pretty good looking assets after spending a while in tutorials. But because dev didnt thought about that we have flowers such as tower as a chimney, kids standing on a bad instead of lying on it or even silly for me layer issues all over the game. I really hope dev will try to make next game way better but this one, sorry but nah!

Best Psychological Horror you can buy for a dollar, im not joking. I love the game falling apart by itself motive. That means the more you play and the bigger progress in game you have to more broken, confusing and scary it gets! It really shows that Haunted PS1 game theme, the game successfully try to hit! BTW the Platformer aspect of the game is pure fun too!

Not as bad as everyone claims it is!

I liked the first entry pretty much but in fact, i wasnt aware that second entry is even in developement. So when i got this game in curator page, i was pretty suprised and in the same time curious of what this game can be and im satisfied with what i got. First of all what even is Cave Quest? Cave Quest is a mix of FPP, Hidden Object like adventure game with match 3 often with twists like match 3 to get bubbles to later merge till bubble size will reach 100% of possible size or match 3 to clean a road or sometimes even with puzzle quest-like fights. The last one has been the most improved compared to original material. We got "gear system" that progress through out the game allowing players to fight bigger and bigger challenges and we also got skills that you unlock and upgrade via rpg-esque levelling system, that even though it doesnt say which level you have at specific time, it later shows you on the steam leaderboard, the more exp you gained, the higher score you will have on that ladder. Skills in fact, are not exclusive to fights, some of which are exclusive to more peaceful match 3 riddles, are available in both modes as passives or some lets you invest the level to get more exp in long term. However the not improved part of the game is the story. I mean its better than in original but the thing is, they are completely different titles. While first entry was set in modern times with some fantastic, unusual, mythical even, elements, this one goes full on high fantasy route with elves, magicans, fairies, demons and all that stuff. Maybe it was required change for future entries that might have be released someday, but for me the game went full cliche. Maybe it wouldnt be much of an issue but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is long! On average, games from these genres takes around 5-12hours for me this one took me 23h already and im finally at the end of final chapter. I assume it will take me additional 2h to finish it. However if you are the type of person who really care about money per hour of fun, this geneuinly is a no brain deal for you. For those who are just want to chill out or dont think high fantasy is a cliche setting its also a deal, riddles are fun and challenging, enemies are diverse for the portion of overall time fights take and the plot is reasonable and really entertaining for the genre it represents! Ive seen way worse stories than this one in games like that and i might even say even though its too long, its rewarding.
