Takes a while to get started, like most roguelikes, but it is very fun once it ramps up.

Finished it in one sitting, as I'm sure most people will. It's just a joy, I'll probably play through it again soon and focus a bit more on the side quests. The game feel is 10/10, the animation on the legs as you move and the way things bounce around is absolutely perfect. Everything works and reacts to your movement the way you expect it to. The art is gorgeous, the music is lovely, and I can't stress enough how fantastic the animation is on every little creature you'll befriend on your journey.

Worth trying. Fantastic concept executed frustratingly sloppily. It's such a shame that the game feel is horrendous. For a game that feels like it could have a place in esports, it sucks to be at the whim of bullet spread when firing something like a rocket launcher (one of many frustrating discoveries you will make during the turning point of a match). You want your strategy to work out, but it doesn't matter how good your plan is when RNG can bite you in the ass at a crucial moment. When you're losing, it feels like the game is beating you rather than the opponent. The movement and gunplay just feels off in ways that are hard to describe, but the subreddit and official discord chat seem to have come to that same consensus.

Having said all that, I do recommend this game because there is nothing like it, and I'm very hopeful that some time in the future we will see a full gun and movement mechanics overhaul. I wish this game the most success, but I will be anxiously waiting to read the update logs before I dip back in.

Just a perfect game. Gorgeous soundtrack, amazing story, fantastic space flight mechanics, and an incredibly satisfying ending.

Very high skill cap, tough learning curve, but plenty to have fun with while you still suck at the game. Toxic af player base but not as bad as some other competitive games. I hate both the new and old loot system, but you can still have fun customising your car without spending a cent... They just reeeeaaaally want you to buy cosmetics and they aren't subtle with it. Honestly I love the gameplay, but I hate almost everything around it. Since the Epic Games purchase let's see what direction they take it, can't get much worse.
