I recently started playing smite through steam, I have 1022 hrs on record. I started playing because of a friend, I wasn't interested in this game at all back in the day, Smite is a great game if you want to play with a party of 2 or 3 because of the competitive aspects of the game, if you're more of a casual player you can play with up to 5 people. If you're someone that doesn't like to deal with a bunch of stuff in the game (game mechanics, items, buffs, debuffs, passives, etc) then this isn't a game for you, if you're into strategic-well coordinated games, then I think you'll enjoy this. Sadly if you're a solo player you can have a really hard time in ranked, eventually you'll meet people in-game that can help you rank up. I would recommend this game, tbh most of the times I forget it's a FTP game, it's really well done and the devs love to keep the game updated with game balance and skins.
