a while ago, if you asked me about my thoughts on this game, i would have said it kinda sucks to play on PC and that it wasn't really worth getting. however, after upgrading my hardware a bit (120hz 0.5ms monitor, new keyboard, etc.) and grabbing a bunch of the DLC over the last sale, i've gotta say, this is really damn good.

the song list is amazingly huge, spanning over two PSP games and a bunch of brand new (and great) tracks, and if you get the DLC, you get even more options (i personally recommend getting V EXTENSION and TECHNIKA 3). i'd recommend buying the song unlock DLC just because grinding every song out to play normally is a paaaain.

gameplay is fun and easy to pick up, and judgment is generally not strict in the slightest. speed mods stay the same across all songs, you've got a bunch of different noteskins and 'gears' (your playfield) to change up, you have 4 different choices of modes to play (or 2 more if you end up getting far in the game's MISSION MODE), it's all really really nice.

if you're looking for a paid rhythm game to get into that's worth your money, i'd say get this one. lots of content, lots of fun.

woooow this game is super fun. as someone who's played paper mario and TTYD to death, and never really liked sticker star or color splash all that much, this is a breath of fresh air

battle system is great, super block not being "cancel all damage" is a fantastic change and having a three-member party system is actually really neat
love the cutesy artstyle, story, characters, music, all of it so far is good good good

only played through chapter 1 so far but i have high hopes for the rest of the game
if you like paper mario, please give this one a shot and see if you'll like it just as much

aaa i've been watching the sidelines during its development for a long while and i love it. story is good, characters are good, art is good, everything about this is nice.

there are are like two issues i have, but i don't mind them too much:
- no mouse lock. either that, or alt+tabbing breaks it
- no settings to adjust volume

other than that, this is great and i can't wait to see more of it after the prologue

a challenging and fun roguelike akin to the megaman X games.
if you like games like binding of isaac, nuclear throne and other roguelikes where growing stronger is key with lots of items, this is for you

an absolutely fun game to play, ESPECIALLY with friends (i mean, together is in the title)
if there are certain things you don't enjoy about the game or wish to add, mods in the workshop are available to help and are actually really damn well done

it's probably one of the most fun sandbox survival games i've played, and actually requires a bit of skill rather than just doing simple tasks (ex. minecraft and starbound)

if you and your buds need a new game to play, get this. you even get a free second copy when you buy it so why wouldn't you??

this game tortures you with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RNG, annoying enemies in campaign, persistent AI that does nothing but make your life miserable, and multiplayer that might want to make you tear your head off

fun as hell game, 10/10
