Was playing the tutorial and saw Eastern Ukraine as "Western Russia". This came out in 2017 before the current conflict was even going. This is just Russian propaganda. But in my refund. I'd rather go through the hassle than support corrupt devs.

The story is fantastic, well adapted into the the world and D&D rules. I have no real praise to say that hasn't been said better by others.

But the biggest gamechanger that BG3 provided is that people want solid gameplay at a reasonable price. Which we shouldn't have to say, but apparently we have to make it clear for all the publishers that insist on pushing out games as fast as possible. We want a solid enjoyable gameplay that isn't full of microtransactions and is finished. I know there were some bumps at release, but it was a much smoother release than so many supposed triple A games.

Deep Silver saw how badly they messed up the most recent Saints Row and said, we can do that to our old titles too.

Literally can't play it. I sit at the main menu and can seemingly switch toggles back and forth but nothing happens. There are display options as well. Pressing multiple different keys doesn't seem to launch the game. And seemingly I can't change airports? They both just seem to go to the same place, I guess one is a bigger plane? I don't know because I can't get the game to launch. My expectations were low but WOW.

I love Sherlock games and really enjoyed this. The combat wasn't great, but it wasn't game breaking.
What was game breaking was a bug I encountered where i literally couldn't progress. I thought i had to wait a number of in-game days for my progress to go on so i completed a bunch of side quests. After a while I realised it's taking far too long for this NPC to appear. So I emailed the devs. They emailed me back asking for a copy of my latest save. At this point I was thrilled. Surely this meant they would fix my game.

No. They didn't. Or rather, I don't know. I'm sure the bug is fixed so people will no longer encounter it. But I never heard back from them. I thought surely if they can't retroactively fix my bug with a patch, they can force the npc to spawn or just let my character skip that step. and email me a fixed save. Or barring all that, they would just say I'm screwed. No, I heard nothing from them.

All my autosaves have been written over from all the sidequests. Even if i could go back in this story quest, i was never informed how far back i would need to go. Basically I need to start the entire game over. And as much as i enjoy the franchise, I'm still not in the mood to start all over again.

This morning I didn't think about this game, a friend suggested i look into it.
I've since refunded it.
It looked interesting, so i bought it. I downloaded it and sat in the queue for about 30 minutes. I started looking around, trying to find why i couldn't get to a server select screen or a character create screen. I found suggestions like the devs are broke, and I learned there are no NA servers. Their official twitter didn't seem to mention there being a login problem, i went to their discord where i learned people have been waiting for hours (some claimed over a day, but that felt unlikely).

There is no official communication, i found a post on their discord which was 4 hours old saying they had server problems. I don't know if that was related to my problem or not. I couldn't log into the game, so using a blanket problem like server doesn't tell me anything. I decided instead of waiting hours/days.

I get this game is new and this is a common problem with a new MMO. But the lack of communication forces me to look for answers from alternate sources. And some of the things other players said i didn't like. I probably wouldn't have refunded it if they just had a twitter post saying we're working on it, but they don't. And I did.

These scam artists waited for the game to reach height of popularity and then required an epic account so they could sell your information for a profit. Voting down isn't enough. Go to the dev page on steam and set it to ignore all products by them, so we won't be tricked by them again.

I refunded the game, for the second time. This is still an unfinished game. I bought the game and tried to play during a beta weekend. It was so broken for me I couldn't play, my cursor was on the other screen. When it was released, I bought it again. I thought surely the bugs have been fixed. Wow, was I wrong.

This time it was at least semi-playable. For a while. I was packing up my ship to return when i was attacked and killed by a wolf. Okay. But since I was interfacing with the take off screen, I had a window asking me if I wanted to leave and reminding me I'd lose stuff. Ironically again, there was cursor issue. This issue being there was no cursor. I couldn't hit yes or no. Enter and space bar did nothing. I literally had to alt-F4 out of the game because nothing i pressed did anything.

This game is not done, it is far from done, and I have no idea how they get away with charging that much. Maybe pick it up in a year when it's on sale, hopefully it will work by then.

This is more a maybe than a yes. I loved the original game. And Evil Genius 2 expands on the original. But maybe it didn't need to. This game feels like it has more micromanagement than Evil Genius. It feels like you have to babysit it more and that it keeps you on your toes. Evil Genius was a fun game where this is more of a challenging game. i personally would have been happy with updated graphics anew more traps. I think by trying to fill it out they bloated it with little things to do.
