I want to write a good review for a amazing game. Im an extraction horror fan and will provide some keypoints for you, dear reader. (English not native language)

Non-game facts why I would recommend R.E.P.O.:
1. Developers are amazing people and listen to their player base. They even changed the main banner of game because of player base!
2. Game is pretty cheap and worth every penny. First I pirated it, but then I felt guilty and bought it from steam.

Game facts why I recommend this game:
1. Gameplay loop is satisfying, provides good challenge and with good friends will not become tedious fast
2. Amazing and unique graphical style gives game an identity and soul. Silly android robbing mansions with monsters
3. Proximity voice chat and how it's implemented. When you talk your android will open mouth (and look silly) and voice will reverb across the rooms. Some items change pitch of the voice adding even more immersion
4. NO TIME RESTRICTION. Damn that was such a hassle in lethal company. You have all time in a universe to go crazy with monsters and your friends.
5. Perfect decision and SOLID realization to implement physics in extraction horrors. Your goal objects are under physics, map objects are not and all players have ability to go in "ragdoll" mode and take advantage of it. It first appeared in content warning, but it was.. to much, everything felt so wobbly, but well funny (good for 1st April game). The lethal company on other hand felt too rigid and grindy. You have time restriction, you can pick up and drop stuff under your feet.. I think the humans in lethal company is more rigid than androids in R.E.P.O.
6. Overall worldbuilding and setting. Even tho players de jure are slaves of taxman you don't feel like it! Your boss is pretty chill and even allows you not bring back the C.A.R.T. just do your job man :D And the funny gag with death arena if you loose feels VERY refreshing after black screen of death in Content Warning and flush in space in lethal company. I don't even think the game need lore it will just add some rigid stuff in such fluid game. Everyone have own interpretation why there here, why every human is dead and why taxman need random stuff.

Meta stuff, but someone want to know about it:
1. Game supports mods. I personally dont use them, but I know there's some for cosmetics and player limit remove.
2. Game plays very good on Linux out of the box
3. Game is pretty optimized and runs good. My laptop with iGPU even don't heats so much on High graphics!
4. No matchmaking yet

Now to the bad stuff:
1. Every extraction horror after some time becomes tedious. Every extraction horror need a connected bigass pipe with content flow, but It's very hard for developers.
2. Sometimes I think the map is pretty small, but probably I don't get far enough in game.
3. Even tho game is fun singleplayer.. You need at leats one friend to play with. Without friends you cant see potential of proximity voice chat and sillines of androids
4. WHYY I CANT SEE MY BODY, MY LEGS AND ARMS FROM FIRST PERSON VIEW! It's such a good addition to immersion and sillines and content warning prove it! I think when developers will add it R.E.P.O. will be a god gift from the heavens to us mortals gamers.

Overall Im very satisfyed with this game and wish best for dev-team. Peace!

МИКЛАГАРД ГДЕ БОЕПРИПАСЫ??

Топовый и единственный клан в котором можно сделать продразверстку в соседней деревне и забрать их детей в армию.

По своей сути весь клан должен и будет опираться на 2-3 тайла за всю игру. И мне это очень нравится. 1 Тайл - деревня для продразверстки. 2 Тайл - деревня для сбора налогов. 3 Тайл - ГУЛАГ в котором все неугодные насильно попадают в армию и идут защищать родину. Самая имба - обычный люд ест суп из опилков и не требуют еды из казны. То есть если по каким-то обстоятельствам ты не можешь обеспечить клан едой, то достаточно сократить некоторых людей с завода или отправить их в ГУЛАГ и показать соседям, что ВЛАСТЬ - ФОРТАМ, ЗЕМЛЯ - КРЕСТЬЯНАМ, ЗАВОД - РАБОЧИМ. При фортской власти режим настолько жестокий, что люди в герцогствах наверное спят и живут на работе и НЕ ТРЕБУЮТ домов.

Что по особенностям, которые я заметил. Горностайчику жизненно необходимо раскрутить экономику как можно быстрее. Без неё даже банально зачистить зоны больно. Но после постройки базовых тайлов, экономика растет по ЭКСПОНЕНТЕ. Если этому клану не дадут люлей за его существование сразу, то с каждым жителем он станет только сильнее. Миклагард кормит. В целом клану не несут каких-то преимуществ большие границы. Я бы даже сказал, больше проблем. Поскольку нет возможности построить даже базовую защитную-башню, а защитные форты не выполняют её функции, то количество микроменеджмента с каждой территорией тоже растет по экспоненте. Также проблематично будет удерживать большую территорию потому что форты не бесконечные.

Из минусов клана могу перечислить - он очень уязвим к ранней агрессии, в самом начала просто не хватает люда для колонизации важных пром зон, что уж говорить о защите. Также горностайчик очень любит деньги. Без буржуазии, которая платит налоги, в казне будет пусто и ничего даже построить не получится. Из-за конечности фортов и отсутствии защитных башен клан, относительно зависит от RNG. Если к пром. территории будет очень мало возможно проходов, то жить будет гораздо легче иначе, умные игроки просто зайдут с нужных флангов.

Aand because lack of friends playing solo is a bit.. boring? I jumping around, killing monster, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mah pants and uhh.. thats all :(
Im a linux gamer, so I found a bit performance issues, but I submited a report, hopefully I help developers. Also hoping about UI redesign after 1.0, because it's uhh.. uncomfortable to work with

I love the idea and the concept. I love watchig silly creatures doing silly things while trying to survive.
As everyone mentions, theres huge performance issues. At the current state simulating evolutions with mutations is unplayable (if you use timeskips) or you need to have a lot of patience (to clear all bugged species and safely unload RAM). Game is singlethreaded, probably has memory leak,
And I hope developer continues make updates, especially performance one
Because better performance = more people = more ideas = more bug reports and more
