I love the concepts in this game, but unfortunately the game itself doesn't feel like it handle them well enough to keep me, or my friends, interested. It takes awhile to unlock things, so playing with friends is the best way, but as I, and my friends are adults with full time jobs, it isn't always possible, and playing on quick-match just is not as fun as those players always seemed to have everything unlocked already that my "small head" card didn't really matter. When I did get my friends to play, we had fun for the roughly two minutes the match would take, but then lost steam as we went through menus to open the loot boxes we got, and wonder if it's worth messing with the limited amount of cards you're allowed to bring into game, which most of the trash pulled simply would make the next match a lesser experience.
