Absolutely an incredible game.
What started out as an alright parkour melee gun and run grind fest has turned into an incredible game stretching an entire solar system (soon to be multile) with hundreds of maps, enemies, upgrades, and weapons to choose from.

A variety of warframes for a variety of playstyles.
An incredible selection of weapons from ranged rifles to messy melee to incredible exotic designs.
A deep lore and modular and fun storytelling experience.
A slightly higher learning curve than most console or PC casual games, but a gameplay experience rewarding for casual part time players and devoted full time players both!

Also, the most bad-ass way to fish.

All of it is avaiable for free. Paying to play the game does not grant you the ability to win, or any real or measurable advantage in play options.

Warframe is probably the best all around games you could buy on Steam right now in terms of fun and hours per dollar, and its one you don't have to buy.

And soon, it will start to include things only Star Citizen and No Man's Sky offered, and that's all gonna be offered as free updates! No DLC you have to buy! What more could you honestly ask for?

Ninja's play for free. Give it a shot.

Come Warframe with me, it'll be fun!

Think Warhammer 40k meets Starfleet Battles I and II.
And I think you got the gist of the game, at least from playing the Tutorial.

But it looks neat, if you liked Starfleet Battles, you'll probably enjoy this.

Same ideas, different skin, and very good execution from what I've seen so far.

High Energy Turns and Boosting, coupled with a range of abilities, limited use attacks and various fighter craft.
Beams, Guns, Missiles/Torpedoes. The whole kit and kaboodle here. Including firing arcs.

It's good. If you wanted a modern Starfleet Battles, or have always wondered how Warhammer 40k Capital Ship warfare might be fun, give it a shot.

I'm playing during the free weekend and may be convinced enough to buy it!

Quick, simple game play, deep customization and counters.

Fun, especially for the price.

Fast paced Moba style combat with 10 card decks and a variety of interesting MASTERS who lead the minions, buildings, and casting of spells you'll use to dominate your opponent.

Was surprised how much fun it was.

Left 4 Dead clone, right down to the types of Special Ratmen and Beastmen.

It is EXACTLY what L4D was, wonder if it runs with the same style Director.

Either way, it's an amazing fun game... assuming you liked L4D.

The only question I have left is... When do we get a WH40K version? Please?!?!

Early Access Review
Let me put this simply.

This game is hella fun. It's got some depth, some considerable building strategy, but it always has to be kept loose due to the rogue-like aspect. It blends that with its items and survivor types exceedingly well.

The game has an addictive gameplay loop that is enjoyable and endlessly replayable. It is also rewarding, whether you unlock things or not, as you find new combinations and push yourself farther than you did the last time.

It is still in Early Access with frequent updates and its first huge content update really satisfied everyone I know who plays it.

Everything about this game exceeds the already decent standard the fine folk at Hopoo set with the first Risk of Rain. Everything has been increased in fun and the boring or frustrating parts dampened or removed completely.

If you have $20.00 to spend on a game, this is definitely worth many evenings of frenetic, fast paced, fun gameplay.

Worth the Buy now, but definitely get it on release if you decide to wait.

Simply brilliant. Superbly fun.

An exquisitely fun and innovative rpg game from an Indie Developer.
Worth grabbing.

Bought this to play with a friend, at the friend's request.
Tried to play MP, found out there is no real co-op element to the game. You can't adventure together, which was sort of what we thought was being advertised to us.

Nope, just one co-op mission, where you do the same thing, over and over and over.

And that is pretty much the entire game. The characters you meet, are pointless. The plot is confusing. The main character is literally a nobody who develops no real personality and who's whole goal is largely GTFO but also... save people? And that apparently counts for both sides... don't matter. Just save them all. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Metal Gear Solid storyline...

Despite the fact the whole game is basically MGS: V maps, just with a big sandstorm and some work to make them look like they didn't finish building the levels.

That's... what your doing. Playing through MGS:V's maps, without visibility, against about 3-4 basic enemy types that will never change.

Don't waste your money.

Early Access Review
TL:DR -- If you like intense, immersive environmental shooters, with stealth and tactical gunplay, continue reading. If you enjoy intense melee and firearm combat, of the nature where you have to think a few seconds ahead in the heat of the moment, you may like this game. If you like Western Shooters, and don't mind a twist, you will like this game. If you like Monster Hunter or Escape from Tarkov or PubG, you will really like this game. I give it a 6/10, with the score to improve as they continue to develop and polish. Worth the buy on sale definitely. Maybe worth the buy full price with time.

While still early access, you get a lot of enjoyable gameplay before you run through all the content currently present.

Bugs and disconnects are not frequent, but they are more common than a polished title.
Optimization has not brought the FPS up to a respectable level in all areas of the map, and a variety of graphics cards will struggle or stutter regardless of your specs. Other areas run smooth and flawlessly.
Network optimization would reduce the few times you will lose connection to a game.

Graphics are incredible.
Sound is amazing and an immersive part of your gameplay experience as well as a tactical edge. Headphones recommended.
Enemies are stupid, but varied, and the mixture allows for a considerable threat and various approaches to defeating groups and mobs of enemies. Couple this with the environment's distractions and traps, as well as the stealth element, and you have a pretty creative tactical/stealth western zombie survivor game. This game does that a lot, and it does it very, very well. They are also fast and fairly smoothly animated, you know what they're getting ready to do, it doesn't always help you.
Environments are simply incredible. The Bayou has never been so fun to trudge through, and has never been as terrifying as it has been with the zambies. However, alligators and other normal bayou hazards are not present, and uncertain whether they're planned for. Their absence, however, is not a mark against the game's enjoyment factor.

Stealth. This game utilizes stealth and the fact most of your weapons make loud sounds to great effect.
Gunplay. Very western. If you've played Western's before, it will be familiar and fun, if you're a COD player, you're gonna find it a bit weird to get used too. Most tactical FPS gamers will adapt easily. Ironsights work very well.
Melee. Melee is satisfying. Very satisfying, and very terrifyingly dangerous.
PvP is enjoyable, but becomes highly imbalanced past level 20.

Future features being added, like the controversial Dark Sight (10 seconds of wallhacking) for those who pick up bounties, may change the entire approach to the game's foundational gameplay aspects. Caveat Emptor.

6/10 Early Access Score. Definitely worth the buy on sale. Probably worth the buy full EA price.

I could not recommend this game more, with the caveat that it is an older game, from an older time. That being said, its still a fun game to play, even for me today. I still play it.

The Killer App is essential.

That being said.

This game has aged incredibly well, it is still an amazing story with amazing gameplay.

The MP aspect is still visited by me and a niche group of friends and gamers, but its more a matter of making your own racing club than having a public online community. In other words, its pretty much like the game was back in the early days of the internet.

Enjoy the game, and Disney does periodically release a patch to fix the game's critical crash every few years, the last one being 2015.

This game is very rewarding.

For the price, you get a full game. Fairly smooth and responsive combat, a deep crafting system, an amazing gameplay experience even if you explore it single player.

Unlike most open world crafting survival games, its got plot elements and a definite progression system that isn't restrictive but does keep you working through a vast choice of goals.

Definitey worth the buy, and probably the best Conan game on the market.

Discover the secret of Steel.
