The closest games are Spongebob: The Cosmic Shake and Psychonauts 2, both great games but both are bound to a pre-established franchise with little room to diversify the content present. Any other game that gives a protagonist a long melee is instead made to be a Souls-like, so to me it's novel to see a game like this. The only downside to playing this game is coming back to the real world in 0.3 hours.
